Kyle, I’m quite surprised and disappointed by some of the negativity in the comments. I’d like you to know, personally, back at the start of the pandemic I was forced to cancel my WDW annual pass. I knew I’d be unable to visit in 2020, and losing that privilege I’d had for decades was devastating. Not long after I discovered you, JoJo and many other Disney vloggers on KZbin. Never realized that was “a thing,” but I lived vicariously through the both of you as you re-entered the parks for the first time, went cruising and shared your day to day life. Now I absolutely understand the value you bring to folks and I am so impressed by your dedication and hard work. I happen to be sailing on Virgin Voyages in a few weeks. It was such a coincidence to see you were boarding the Scarlet Lady. I’ve watched every episode in anticipation of my own cruise, hoping you had good things to say about Virgin as I’ve come to trust your opinion over the years. I’m thrilled you enjoyed it and its made me that much more excited for my own cruise. In closing, thank you for all you do. My hot take so far is that Virgin Voyages isn't for introverts, non-drinkers, or those that aren't party people. The cruise looks fun but it seems like you can miss the key things if you're not into partying and stuff. I could be wrong but I can't see myself having as much fun as you guys as I don't drink, don't like partying, & enjoy being to myself.

I am definitely an introvert, drink occasionally but not often, and my idea of a party is standing in the back and watching everything. That being said....I had a blast and would definitely go back. And if you want some time to yourself.....The hammocks on your veranda are to die for.

We are irish and my mom had not drank alcohol in 20 years. We went several times on virgin voyages and she had plenty of fresh made juice, smoothies, tea. Plus we did sunrise yoga, zumba class etc. Plenty to do for non drinkers. We also played board games, painting and knitting/crafts

In line with the others, I'm an introvert, don't drink, and at 68, I'm at least 20 years older than the average VV cruiser. I'll watch the shows or sometimes parties, but won't be a part of them. I got off the 14 night transatlantic cruise with 3 more VV cruises booked. Why? the food, the crew, the "almost everything included" and the "no kids." I don't hate kids. I just don't want to deal with the 10% who have parents that don't enforce appropriate behavior. I don't believe there is a "best" cruise line, and our needs/wants have changed thru the years, but VV is our "current favorite" for all the above reasons.

I’m not saying this because of this video specifically, but because I haven’t commented before, Casey is such a natural ray of sunshine. She doesn’t need to be loud or super talkative to see she’s such a lovely, positive, wonderful person. Kyle please listen to the comments on these vids. I think you need to travel with Casey without filming. It was her birthday and needed to be celebrated one on one. Also it was your first trip with your girlfriend and it needed to be your personal trip. My takeaway from these videos has been Virgin seems to be running night clubs at sea. Nothing wrong with that if that’s your thing. I’ll put up with some kids on Royal in exchange for a dining room with decent lighting and no loud music. (God I feel so old right now, now get off my lawn.)

Honestly, you'd be surprised. I am 39, but my first cruise, I was 38 on Virgin Voyages. There is so much to do for people of all ages. I'm going again with a few friends for my 40th birthday. The demographic of the ship and the people I met ranged from 20s all the way to 60s and everyone I talked to was having a great time. Yes, some elements are more young adult, but not all; there are some very casual lounging areas, lots of musicians and entertainment that's low-key, they have things like alcohol tastings. I did a class that was painting and boozy bevvies (champagne), and I did another that was called Plate, Snap, Eat, which was a plating and photography class. There is private room karaoke and a nice spa. The last night the night club (The Manor) plays nothing but 70s music.

I've never been on a cruise, so I don't have anything to compare it to, other than all your cruise vlogs (I live vicariously through your vlogs -- lol). All I can say is that you looked extremely happy in all these videos. Was it because of the ship, or because you experienced it with Casey? Maybe a little bit of both. Other than the room with all the twinkling lights, which was absolutely stunning, the ship itself didn't blow me away. The food looked amazing from the video, but you would be the best judge of that. Alcohol and excursions are what costs extra on this ship line. Also, there are "upcharge dinners" at every restaurant, for example the tomahawk steak is $65. But when you get all this food included I personally don't get up charged food... even on ships with specialty dinning

At this point, I'm loyal to Virgin Voyages. I do think it's interesting that most of the vlogs you've done haven't included the activities offered on board. There is SO much to do that I want to do an 8-night cruise just because I felt like I missed SO MUCH on the 4-night cruise. I didn't get to play board games. I didn't go to many of the bars, which I'd love to do. I want to try the spa and I'm not even a spa girl. I never went into the pool or hot tubs. I was go-go-go and still, there was so much I want to do. I'm going again in October for my birthday and it's difficult because I don't want to cut many of the things I've done but I want to do new things as well.

I am a mom of 2 kids and I would LOVE a nice trip away with no kids at all- including other kids lol! I think the ship looked great but the entrance was a little underwhelming! They have the upscale food without paying extra because the cruise itself is so expensive. All cruises are different. This one just seems boring when compared to all the activities on Carnival and RC cruises. Also, it has never bothered me to have kids on cruises. Oh, you can take a high speed ferry from Miami to Bimini-go either for the day or stay there and return another day. Also, a lot of people from FL take their own boats to the various Bahama islands.

It’s funny you say that about other vloggers take on virgin cruises. Because all the vlogs I’ve seen for the most part Have been positive. But I think I’m in a different demographic than you. So algorithms probably sending me different videos. And I disagree with you, the whole point of virgin cruises is supposed to wellness escape for adults. I mean there’s plenty of people that go on there just the party, but they definitely don’t need to get rid of the gyms. That’s the main selling point for some people.. I don’t drink at all,. But the main reason I would take one of those cruises, is for the classes. And all the gyms.

We love to get Godiva chocolate martinis on the Disney Fantasy but they do serve it in a beautifully decorated martini glass, with a chocolate truffle at the bottom! I think they were about $12. Dont think the Virgin Voyages is for us, but it has been fun watching your trip!

Might be worth noting, I’m pretty sure you guys were one one of the first sailings with a brand new crew. I’ve noticed Virgin tends to shift their “seasoned” crew who have done many contracts with them to their newer ships and I think the crew from last year we sailed on Scarlet with all just got shifted to other newer ships this year. Scarlet seems to be their “new hire” ship from what I’ve noticed.

I think you liked it more because you were a couple and not a single man on a cruise. The food didn’t look as appealing as you spoke. I never would consider Virgin until seeing your vlogs. It gave more of a hotel then a cruise maybe that’s why people don’t care for it. The portions was another thing it didn’t look like a lot of food like a regular cruise and the wait times for the food. Did you ever go on another cruise with a girlfriend?
