When we went out to check at 2:00 / 3:00 a.m , I'm in evacuation zone D and my street was a river and it looked like my area got bombed by trees . Just disaster. I remember thinking throughout the night how much more can our house take from this beating . Took forever !!!!!!!! Wife and kids slept in the closet . Thankful we where all safe at the end of the day and everything else can be fixed in time .. 💪🙏

Looks like Orlando was not hit too hard and neither was TAMPA. The people of Naples, Fort Meyers, Sanibel. Those are areas impacted by this storm. We here near Tampa were spared (again). The folks along Southeast coast of FL will need help. Thanks to all who donate to organizations that can help

That’s definitely NOT true. Disney isn’t even in Orlando. I personally can show pictures of three plus feet of water in many areas of Orlando. Friends houses, family member homes, my business was flooded and etc. Orlando was hit harder this storm than any other storm we’ve had. Three streets over in Kissimmee where Disney is located had many residential areas flooded two-three feet. Streets were flooded. People were rescued by airboats and etc. People literally were standing on their dining room tables and countertops waiting to be rescued. So much was in that water. This video and this comment is far from many people’s experience and reality here in Orlando.🥺

Please pray for those impacted down in Southwest Florida by Hurricane Ian! A lot of people lost everything they own and some lost their lives. Our Fort Myers beach which is a lot of people's "Disney trip" every year is gone! Hotels, resorts, restaurants, the world famous pier and homes are wiped out.

A nice thing to do would’ve been to pick up the trays you saw laying on the ground and put them over to the corner stacked up instead of just walking on by them? Common sense! Just one question did you go inside one of the lobbies and tell them about the hair braiding section that had flipped over in the wind with the binders and the beads all over the ground? OMG, stay safe in Florida. All the water reminds me of what happend to me in summer 2016. I was on the way to our supermarket, when I arrived at the parking lot heavy rain startet, so I stayed in the car and waited if it's stop but it didn't so I got out and the whole parking area wad allready flooded, shoes, socks were allready soaked in water. When I got at the entrance I saw that even the entrance area till the cashier was flooded. At beginning of this year we had a Tornado not far from us in Lippstadt in Germany. Whole downtown got destroyed and was completley closed for people to walk because they could get injuried of falling parts (we build our houses of stones and not wood) but material things can be replaced. Kyle, Hurricane Ian didn't hit Tampa. It was supposed to hit Tampa but it turned like Charley and hit Port Charlotte and North Port. We took a direct hit with winds of 140mph for almost 10 hours. The devastation is horrible. I am glad you fared well at Pop Century.

My heart too went 'out' for the baby bunny rabbit. (Logistics make it tough) but, I would have had a room towel with me and put the bunny in it, dried it off and called that place in Animal Kingdom that cares for the animals. They could feed it & then bring it back to the spot you found it on a better day? (I know, in a 'perfect world' the bunny would have had 'family' near by to help ~ which in this case didn't seem to be.) Glad Pop Resort and its guests survived OK. Appreciate you Kyle, 'reporting' on this disaster as you have. Well done.

I’m from East Tennessee and and lineman buddy of mine was in Naples when the storm came through he is ok but a bunch of thier bucket trucks were under water and the first floor of his hotel was under water too. The moved a little north to work the lines. He said he may be there for a month.

Wow, the devastation from the high winds. Couple of observations, usually the sidewalk lights are low wattage so you won't get electrocuted and those wires are usually insolated or the light would be shorted out and it was lit up still. That bunny wanted you to pick him up and wrap him in a towel and get him warm. Thanks for all you do Kyle. Stay dry and safe. :)

This video isn't really showing much at all in the way of "down" branches etc, think it is still early? it is crazy how some locations that were in the direct path (pt charlotte, punta gorda, northprot) and some in zone A were ok from flooding... oddly... and then some who were not are still flooding and being newly evacuated tonight.
