Did You Ever Build A Lego House As A Kid And Want To Live In It? ;-)
@krisnapv30633 ай бұрын
Loved Lego. ❤️ Built stuff all the time. When I was a kid it was very affordable and you did not get kits that can be used for one purpose only, but basic buliding bricks and you had to use your imaginaiton.

I don't think the room or lodges look particularly appealing tbh. Very basic and almost using the lego theme as an excuse for simplicity. Can't help but think of a hospital kids waiting room looking and the features of the room. I know it's for kids, but it should hold up for the adults staying there too. Looks tidy though.

I’m guessing that’s the idea, almost like you’re meant to feel like a tiny lego man. At least the floor isn’t made out of lego bricks, ouch 😱
@cameron.t10 күн бұрын
Nah, it’s appealing and fine. To be fair, I don’t know the price. But it fits the vibe of a mountain lodge. It’s Lego, a high quality kids product. Not a genuine lifestyle or luxury brand. I would expect 3 to high 3/5. The outside is pretty cool but they tone down the interior for the adults bringing their kids. The color palette is more than enough to nod to the theming. That same scheme would be out of place in anything but a Lego room… using subway tile as a Lego motif is actually very tasteful, balancing the appeal to both kid and adult. I’d 100% appreciate this if I had kids. Enough to keep their Legoland high going while being toned down enough inside to not go crazy 😂

Tim, I really enjoy when you are able to bring Gaby and Casper. Gaby is so relatable and you two are both class. Food looks ok very expensive and poor quality a bit like haven… I think u should have been reimbursed for poor quality meals and serve, I can’t believe that is only a couple of months old. For what is included in the price, it is good value. I could spend all day in Mini Land! The accommodation had great theming, especially for youngsters. Very unimpressed with the restaurant and food, but these types of places are usually overpriced (captive audience) and Merlin, I am aware, has increased their food prices quite considerably this year. As for Lego, Gaby, there is now the Friends female range for you! And, late in life, I started building Lego! Obviously the adult sets(!) which, admittedly, are a bit expensive but greatly enjoyable and relaxing. Great seeing Thumps and his reactions to everything.

Ooh, I read about this new village. The pictures I saw looked incredible, can’t wait to watch your full vlog / tour later on. It would be wicked if they had a similar village but exclusively for adults based off their Lego art, icons, technic (supercars), botanical and architecture series. Could have stuff like piano lounge, library, garden, gallery, place to build/create, shop etc… The mini land in the main park is really impressive in real life. They do sell loads of their adults sets. Some of them are over £700 though lol. I bought the bonsai tree as my first adults + set. Quite fancy building either the Great Pyramid of Giza or Van Gough’s Starry Night next.

Having those router ports is an absolute godsend and is actually pretty advanced. And I wish more places would offer it. It's a direct link to the Internet if you're having issues with WiFi (which can be spotty and unreliable). It means families who need reliable Internet (for work or personal reasons) can still use it.

As a ex employee. They shut at 5 just because it’s school days and it’s not cost effective to stay open later because not enough people will come in after school. It’s a horrible place to work at. Also the ride that shut in the rain is because there’s no traction on the tracks and the cars will crash into each other even if it’s a “wet” mist it has to shut. The employee that told you it’s an indoor ride was correct basically it was created as an indoor ride and I think there is another version of it in America that is indoors. However when the one in Windsor was made they (from what I was told) didn’t have the funding at the time to build a building around it then they just decided to make buildings next to it instead of just finishing the ride how it was supposed to be.

@@HappyT111 loads of little things that suck. Just to name a few: Lunch breaks count from the moment you leave your position on a ride so and you only get 30 minutes usually so from some of the rides it can take over 10 minutes to get to and from the ride so really you only get 10 minutes for lunch then you can get even less if a guest needs you to help them or it’s busy and you can’t get round people or the staff kitchen area is busy so you have to queue for ages. Abusive upper management, I had a manager call me a word that KZbin probably doesn’t like much so let’s say the r word used against autistic people and as an autistic person that wasn’t really ok. Also nothing was done about it too because it was my word against hers. I will say I did have some fantastic team leaders and they got fucked over by upper management too. Very little staff protection from guests, I’ve been screamed at hundreds of times for just following the rules I have to make sure a ride is safe. I have as well as many other people I worked with have been swung at or actually punched by guests.

I'm a 60 year old woman with fond memories of Lego! Of course, I was never bought Lego when I was a child as it was considered a 'boys toy'...until I was 7 and my dad's brother came to stay with our family. They visited the local town and came home with a Lego kitchen build which they presented to me! I was thrilled! Couldn't wait to build that kitchen (being a girl 😂) it was bedtime by the time they got home and I looked forward to building it when I got up in the morning. I woke up the next morning to find the entire Lego kitchen built and left on the chest of drawers in my bedroom. I'm not sure whether my dad and uncle thought I wouldn't be able to figure it out (as a female and it being a construction toy) or they thought they were being kind and it would be a nice surprise. All I can say is that the disappointment I felt is still palpable to this day! As I grew older, I totally monopolised my younger brother's Lego!

I love the little lego chalets, i still build lego as a 48 year old woman. I had a fun fair set before the cats deatroyed it and we needed the room. My youngest is now 18 and we last did legoland when she was 6 so its been a while. We loved it, we got tickets with merlins charity merlins magic wand that gives tickets to disabled children and their family.

Plot twist - before filming, Tim was given a box of blocks at reception and had to build the house from scratch.

I don’t have kids but I would definitely love to book into a Lego house! Love building Lego. It’s therapeutic to me. I especially enjoy building Lego cars. Recently just built Dom Torettos charger from the fast and furious movies. 😊
