Love that you surpirsed your parents with Alexa. But such a let down for them when you announced your cruise. It's wonderful that siblings can get along so well. But im also a parent of adult children and i would have been heart broken in that situation. Kyle probably didnt mean for all that to come together like that. But sometimes even the best laid plans backfire a bit.

We just stayed at boulder ridge last week. Comparing 2 bedroom to 2 bedroom between there and riviera, the riviera was more spacious. Gift shop at the wilderness was way better. Fun resort!

I'm sure they do what they do for a reason. We're only seeing a short 20-30 min of there lives. They came down when they did and are leaving when they're leaving for a reason.

I had the Bison Burger for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was delicious! Not my favorite on property, (that goes to D-Luxe Burger for now) but definitely worth the price and a high quality burger overall.

I found it confusing to follow but I typically multitask and thought I missed something. My guess is that the parents went to park hotel because Kyle told them he was cruising the next day while parents could enjoy another evening and next day at the parks. Looks like Disney springs was on the agenda for that evening for the parents. I did find it sad when Kyle said to dad while he was packing are you getting ready to leave and Kyle’s dad’s response was that he is sad and would prefer the pallonesian.😢 I was not clear as to why they all didn’t go to Disney springs. Kyle did say in a separate video that there would be a family trip and that they plan to go to Wisconsin during the summer months.

Kyle, Great surprise. Are your parents leaving Saturday or Sunday back to Wisconsin? Since, they have work. Can you please take Alexa on the high-speed train to Fort Lauderdale? JOJo, did Disney Dream out of that port and took a bus shuttle from the train. He said, it was great. Ask him, if you need directions. It’s sad, we only saw Magic Kingdom for 3 minutes after you said, you didn’t expect to be in a park at beginning of the blog.

I love when my grown kids are on vacation with me 😊 We love to walk around Wilderness Lodge and have lunch ! The cabins are absolutely beautiful !!! Oh wow a cruise so cool you two !! Food looks great ! My dog looked around for that steak 😂 Very nice deluxe studio ❤ The older sofa beds were hard the newer pull down beds are so much nicer ! Boulder Ridge is NOT new. They have been refurbished! In addition, as long as a walkway does not say 'DO NOT ENTER' guests can use it. The pool that you are in is the DVC pool. I also could be mistaken but there are only rooms in Copper Creek, Boulder Ridge, and the cabins.

The Mac N Cheese bites were dairy free. So vegan cheese. It was marked on the menu.

Really? That’s fantastic! I’ve been vegan over 15 years and I have learned how to bake and cook using different types of meat and cheeses different types of vegan mock meats in order to make some really good tasting dishes. It just depends on the browned, whether you use it for savory or sweet dishes and when I make my cheese sauce, I always cashew cream, vegan butter and daiya it makes the best vegan Alfredo sauce and it’s super simple because you can just use the cheese and some nondairy milk and some nutritional yeast to make the best vegan cheese sauce ever I wish Disney would really implement this more in their dishes at these mac & cheese bites sounds delicious!

Our last trip to DW we stayed in DVC Boulder Ridge one bedroom room. I think the remodel is great there and our room was on top floor and overlooked pool and lake which was a beautiful view. Only downfall of our room was corner room and ceilings were slanted so didn’t have new pull-down bed but was a new couch pullout. And in bedroom you couldn’t sit in chair without being cautious of hitting your head on the ceiling. We also tried the Bison Burger there for first time and was delicious. We were not fans of the Mac n cheese bites.

My husband and I went to WDW on our honeymoon in 1995. (Yes, in the 1900's) We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and it was the newest resort. Watching you drive in brought back so many wonderful memories. Our trip included park hopper tickets, the hotel for 7 nights, and Disney's Food & Fun card. Back then the Food & Fun card included all of your food with gratuities! The more you ordered, the greater the server's tip. Total cost....$1995 Amazing!

Hi Kyle, I saw your dad wearing his red clown nose as you were all walking up to the Wilderness Lodge and it got me thinking. Did your dad have another job other than a clown? I ask because I’m wondering if a clown can raise a family of 4 on that salary or did he have another job . How long was he a clown because he obviously still loves acting silly and wearing the red nose whenever he can.
