There are two things about this episode that are done really well: 1. Blood Embrace's fight with the zombies - really made me laugh, especially that little 'face-to-face' they got going on there ;-) 2. The ending - here, MiHoYo's experience creating AMVs and chapter intros/outros really shines :-) As for other parts, I get the impression that you guys subconsciously fell back on your usual in-game storytelling convention (i.e. camera focusing closely on 1-2 characters, a bit of dialog, frequent switching between scenes etc.) and it didn't work that well. Looking forward to future episodes 👍
