@@mygetawayart The only fantasy that talks about elves and towards which I feel I am close, if we can talk about fantasy, is the Silmarillion, which still smells of Gnostic genesis. Regarding the other two examples, the Christmas elves I do not know who they are unfortunately, I know the elves referred to in pre-Christian history (Celts, Germans, Nordic, Icelanders, Norwegians and the north in general) and above all the Túatha Dé Danann. Unfortunately my soul is split in two places so different that it forced me to always live with my feet in two worlds.

if you happen to go to Barcelona, you absolutely have to go to a pub called El Bosc de les Fades, pretty touristy but the ambience is worth it, it's like literally stepping in a fantasy elven bar, with vines growing inside, trees, candles and lanterns. It's easy to spot the entrance on La Rambla but the bar itself is tucked away in an alleyway to the side which adds to the magic of the place.

A very special thing, for a special someone, beautifully tucked in a small box. He kissed the box while imagining her reaction.

As the Little Elf turns away, a look of mild disgust washes over his face as he gingerly walks towards the barista's counter, notepad and ornate fountain pen in hand. "How many times must I tell these Orcs that this is a, COFFEE shop, not some tavern" he mutters to himself as he hands over the order. "Remember to smile, Little Elf!" the Tall Elf barista says cheerfully as he snatches the paper. "Ah, 'coffee with sugar cookies', Fernanda must be in this afternoon", he moves swiftly as he preps the order. The Little Elf has surely memorized every move needed for a black coffee by now: Measure and grind the (Elven, of course) coffee beans, tamp and pack into the filter with a small twist at the end, place mug onto cup warmer, insert the ground coffee, turn a couple nobs, push a couple buttons, place warm mug beneath dispenser, press the dispense button, and serve ("with a smile"). As the coffee flows from the machine, the Tall Elf Barista cleans his instruments and grabs gold trimmed tea plates with delicate pink roses painted upon them, making sure to set them on the counter very carefully. "What am I supposed to bring them?" the Little Elf whispers nervously as he glances over his shoulder, the table of gruff looking patrons staring a hole through the back of his head. "Your little legs are fast aren't they? Run down to Camilla's Tavern and bring them some of the swill she serves there", the Tall Elf's straight golden locks flow gracefully as he bends down to open the display case where the sweet treats are kept, trying to hide his mischievous smile behind the Berry Lembas Cake. The Little Elf scrunches his nose and buries the thought of pushing the barista's perfect blonde head into the freshly made cake. Not soon after, the Tall Elf Barista arises with 3 perfect, warm sugar cookies. One has a fine uniform layer of sugar resembling fresh snow. “A robust flavor of vanilla”, the little elf whispered longingly beneath his breath. One is expertly decorated with a forest green (but not too sweet) frosting accompanied by a few simple depictions of their native forest trees that are painted on with a looser coco based confection (mostly for decoration). “A gentle, earthy-sweet aroma of mint and cocoa . .”. The Little Elf is nigh drooling. Finally, one garnished equally with edible confectioner pearls around the perimeter and one especially beautiful pearl in the center of a cookie that is smitten with medium-sized crystals of golden colored Lemon-Sugar, as well as genuine Dwarven Gold flake speckled atop and just a dash of glossy ribbons of zest from a lemon. “Zesty & Zingy & Bright & Beautiful!” The little elf could hardly contain himself. The little elf remembers the day he was hired, the tall elf let didn’t let him him taste them until he could make his very first perfect one himself! “Ugh, Heavenly.” The little elf allowed that to sloth off of his tongue like drool, and slip out of a set of deeply-smiling teeth. The Little Elf is cheered up by the beautiful cookies on the equally beautiful plate as the coffee is slid towards him. The Tall Elf meets the Little Elf's eyes and dons a large, perfect-toothed, cheesy smile, pointing to the corners of his mouth. The Little Elf sighs, picks up the plates, turns around and gingerly walks towards Fernanda with a sheepish smile, avoiding eye contact with the Orc at all costs. Fin. (?) Thanks for reading if you got this far, it took me like 2 hours for my cat and I to compose that. Not my best work but I think its okay for a nice little comment section. I had a rough day and this helped take my mind off of that. I hope you enjoyed and I hope you imagine what happens next! share with me what you think happens if you do :) (disclaimer: I am not a barista nor some coffee nut, so don't bash me for getting some of the coffee stuff wrong. I saw a barista do some of that stuff once and that's what I based it off of uwu )

Using this as a background then layer it with Lazy Breakfast Jazz is just perfection! Gotta love experimenting with combining background with music to make an interesting atmosphere. Most common one probably rain+piano or violin or library noise+classical music. Lately, I also like street sounds/traffic sounds asmr+live pop music or beach wave sounds+love song and the like. Reminds me of the time before covid where I would hang out with friends or family on the side of the road eating street food while chatting. Many kind of interesting combination to get you in the mood for reading or studying, or just relaxing in general

I recommend reading Travis Baldrees Legends & Lattes novel when listening to this beautiful asmr. It is not only a perfect combo of cozy and magical, but also full of warmth n heart as well. There's a subtle and brilliant way that your sounds seem to just fit together. There's a presence to them that's unobtrusive yet intimate. I still haven't figured out what your special sauce is as far as audio, but it's very very good. Naturalistic but also impressionistic, if that makes sense. Like audio blankets. Cozy, so to speak.
