I'm seeing a lot of people in the comments saying that this elf palette isn't good, and I would have to disagree. I think that because it isn't as pigmented as say, Colourpop, it's very beginner-friendly. As I beginner, I find it easier to have colors I can build up, rather than having a really pigmented shadow that's hard to fix if you mess up. Just my opinion, but I guess if you prefer more pigmented shadows you wouldn't like this as much haha. This is one of my favorite palettes :) EDIT: I just watched the part where you said it was $30 in Australia!! Wow! That is crazy, here in the U.S. it's only $10! Lol if I had bought it for $30 I would definitely not be too happy 😅

This is the only elf palette I have. After colourpop haven't gone back to it lol. But I do love the second look today and I tried to recreate it today. It was kinda hard to blend the colors. I feel like it was kind of uneven. But it was ok to use it just for work. Thank you for your videos. They're great!

I love this palette! I’m very cool toned, fair-medium skin tone with blue eyes and I’m 53 so matte shadow is great. I’ve had this palette for a few years and I totally used up one of the lighter shades so I may get a new one just for that as it’s so perfect as a base. It’s not super pigmented but that’s easier to use for lots of people and people who are going for a more subtle, natural look. I just got another pallet by ELF and am wearing it for the first time today and I absolutely love it! It has several shimmery shades and some neutral, pinkish and cool tones that work beautifully on me…new fave! Edit: your technique is outstanding!

omg i had the same dilemma as you did. i bought elf's rose gold eyeshadow palette during their 50% off sale around the time colourpop had bogo on their supershock and pressed eyeshadows. my colourpop stuff arrived first so i got to play around with my supershock shadows first, and when my elf stuff finally arrived, i was so disappointed in the palette. ): the pigmentation was lacking on a lot of the shades and it felt super chalky. i honestly purchased it because i remember weylie doing a look with it. the colors wouldn't show up on my skin. o: i was so happy that i purchased the supershock shadows that when they had another sale i jumped on it! LOL luckily i technically only "wasted" $5 on elf's eyshadow palette with the 50% sale. i really like all 3 of the looks you made! you really made it work LOL. i honestly might purchase this palette though because most of the super shock shadows are shimmery and i'm lacking matte shades to use as my base.

Gosh I agree for what you have to pay for ELF I wouldn’t even bother. I’m not saying they’re bad but not worth the price you have to pay. I can get that palette in the USA for under $8. Also ELF is made in China and I prefer make up made in USA, Italy, France, etc. I would love to see what you would do with the Natasha Denona Star palette but considering the mark up on make up for you I would hate to know what the cost of that palette would be. Your tutorials have been so helpful!

Bro try the Thank Me Later primer its the only one that works for my hooded oily eyes, i tried like 20 different ones tilli found it. u can get a sample size for $3 free shipping PLZ TRY IT it changed everything it doesnt crease!!!! it lasts forever!!!i used to never wear shimmers too bc theyd just crease right off...now they dont all day.

I personally like the ELF prism palette in the shade naked which you can get from iherb.com for like $8? However it is all shimmers, but not glittery more metallic and very smooth. I also cant find the mad for matte 2 palette online which is very warm. If you can get your hands on it I would love to see a review from you!
