In today's video, I'm trying on the Elf perfect finish HD powder. Hd powders are high definition setting powders that are designed to make your skin appear better on HD cameras. This elf face powder is meant to smooth out your skin, improve imperfections & control oil. I tried this elf translucent powder a couple years ago & it broke on me, so here's another go! Too get rid of the powdery look use a mist whether it's a setting or fixing spray or primer water so it melts into the skin much better

I literally came here looking for the same issue with no sponge. I don’t need the sponge but it would indicate if it’s been used and returned and put back on the shelf for me to buy. I guess I’m safe. Glad to know more people said the same

I've been trying for an hour to figure out do I use the HD powder soft over my skin by all my make up foundation and what's the difference between that and the HD powder sheer? Who do I use both or which one should I use and when before after I put the makeup on

You apply the powder over the rest of your makeup. It should be the last step.

@@erinbrown6962 Aww you’re welcome! A primer is applied after skincare and before foundations. It’s mainly meant to make your makeup apply more easily and keep it longer lasting. However, there are different types of primers. Some for dry skin, oily skin, large pores, radiance, etc. Which elf primer did you get?

I just saw this on the elf site and thought it was new. I like the idea it being clear but my absolute favorite powder is their tone correcting one in Cool. It comes off translucent on my skin yet somehow still evens out my skintone, works great alone and to set foundation without flashback. I'm wearing it over foundation in my profile pic. I love it!
