The inhibitor chips were one of the dumbest and most unnecessary addition to the Star Wars canon. They were only created because Dave Filoni didn't want his favorite clone (Wolfe) to turn evil.

@@FoxySpartan117 Exactly why I hate the inclusion of those Damn chips. Also, there's no reason for them to be added. They don't even "fix" anything from the films. It was stated in Attack of the Clones that Clone Troopers were made to be completely obedient to the Republic. In the EU, every clone knew about Order 66 and didn't need some dumb chip to follow orders.

@@marcuscain1377 I always felt the same way. Totally unnecessary retcon that actually diminishes the impact of the statement Lucas made in the movie. What was so sickening about the rise of the Empire isn't that they were mind controlled against their will. It's that they voluntarily signed up for it. The good guys by gradual increments became the bad guys, such that when Order 66 was finally issued, nobody save a few lone Senators like Organa and Mon Mothma, barely even noticed. It's summed up in that beautiful line Padme gives, "So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause."

That trilogy got abandoned for me. The assets I once made will likely be released as a small DLC, but 0 priority will be put to this Era unless the whole mod + good DLC are done.

Any chance you would update the mod to run on classic collection? Even only in part, as i know new era mods are still down at this time. But ones running clone wars and galactic civil war still run.

@@El_Fabricio Darn. I totally understand but it still sucks. I absolutely love this mod, and at least for me, classic is more stable for modern rigs (windows 10/11). I used to get random crashes and frame drops with the originals. But I ran BF3 invisible hand without problems on classic, and I've installed mods with custom assets without issues there as well (but scripts don't all work). I truly hate Aspyr for changing the code and doing a half hearted job on the whole thing. The textures make me literally cringe, especially when they call it a remaster and I have a direct comparison to your work.

It's a mod for classic battlefront 2 which uses as many assets from the cancelled BF3 as possible.

We are not going to make this mod on Battlefront 1. At some point after the release, I wouldn't mind helping around converting this to the even older game (for the most part). But not anywhere before the final release.
