I'm gonna be uploading songs that I've been singing lately and have fun with it; the genres and instrumentals (or lack thereof) will vary. At the very least, KZbin can't copyright-strike my own voice, but I'm sure they'll try. I realize that I have volume-control issues with my covers and there's not much I can do other than go a cappella. C'est la vie. I don't have Gucci resources, nor do I need 'em to enjoy what I produce. The video clip is one that I recorded in Skyrim while admiring the night sky from High Hrothgar.
As far as this particular song goes, here's a lil' tidbit: "Kyrie, eleison" is a Greek prayer (Κύριε, ἐλέησον) which means "Lord, have mercy upon us." The rest of "Lilium" is written in Latin; thus, the Latin/Greek portion translates to "Lord, Spring of Blessings; Lord, Heavenly Flame, have mercy upon us."
Lyrics
Os iusti meditabitur sapientiam,
Et lingua eius loquetur indicium.
Beatus vir qui suffert tentationem,
Quoniqm cum probates fuerit
Accipient coronam vitae.
Kyrie, fons Bonitatis;
Kyrie, Ignis Divine, eleison.
O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena
Esse Virgo creditur.
O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena,
O castitatis lilium.
Kyrie, fons Bonitatis;
Kyrie, Ignis Divine, eleison.
O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena,
O castitatis lilium.
