I'm more impressed with Drinkwitz than ever after watching this interview. I'm class of '70 at Mizzou and now I live in Malaysia with my lovely Malaysian wife. I was at the game in Columbia when Mizzou held Gayle Sayers to under 20 yards rushing while whipping the Jayhawks. I've received my new Mizzou T-shirt and cap and will be wearing them ALL the time. Even I, as a Mizzou fan, didn’t love him until last year. But last season and this offseason have really opened my eyes to what he really is. In short, he is the real life version of Ted Lasso. He knows how to reach into the very depth of his players, his staff’s, and his administration’s hearts. He’s a motivator. More than that, he’s a planner. He has a plan and he has a message and he knows how to sell and execute it. He’s a joy to watch now. But yeah, I can definitely see if you’re only seeing random sound bites from him why one might think he’s a dork or weird.
