I agree on the culture shift-I think it’s real this year. Maybe part of it is the newness of the offensive staff. Pittman seems more upbeat so far this year, sounds like we have good player leadership, too. Trey, did Dari acknowledge you? I couldn’t see 😂

Although I'm a diehard Mizzou fan, I must say I love Sam Pittman. He is the nicest coach in college football. He is a great coach and a class act. I truly hope he has a successful 2024 season this year so he will be retained as the Arkansas head coach. #PullingforPittman

Trey not sure where NIL is currently for the football team, but It seems like the top talent in Arkansas is going elsewhere. We have what appears to be Ole Miss poaching a player from a position of need. If in fact we are unable to compete in NIL is it really fair to fire Sam Pittman at this point? Obviously short of a Calipari level hire in football the next coach would face the same hurdles and I would imagine this would be a hard job to sell.

What's keeping me believing is the simple fact that most of their losses last year were one-score losses. While it's true that a loss is a loss, it also tells you that Arkansas was not just your typical crappy cream-puff team, but a team that was having a hard time "finishing", for one reason or another. I mean that night game in Baton Rouge was a legit back and forth. They lost that game by 3 points. They lost to Bama by 3 freaking points. Lost to Ole Piss by a touchdown. Makes you think maybe they did just need to move some pieces around and add/lose some others. So many games where they showed they could compete well against the best of the best, only to let it slip at the very end. By the end of the season the defense completely let go of the rope and then came the blowouts. When you put things into perspective, what Sam was saying makes sense, and I feel like *he* believes in this team.

Hoping for 6-6 in year 5 of a coach's tenure is a sure sign of failure. Nutt got run out of town for accomplishing much more. People wanted Bert gone because he never won more than 7 in the reg season. Expectations bottomed out with Morris and Pittman hasn't done much to raise them
