I didn't realize when I watched this as young teen in secondary school that it would impact me so much. I still have trouble opening up with my gender identity and sexuality. You should! While Adam is the only trans man in the Degrassi, it does depict a few amazing LGBTQIA stories. I'd also recommend you watch Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. They have a great character Theo who comes out as a trans man in the third season, but his story was being told subtly from the very beginning. The actor playing him is non- binary in real life and talked about how they enjoyed helping shape Theo's journey in the show. In this clip, they explain their views on gender and briefly how they were able to share their story within the role.
