Cramer also said Disney is a great buy yesterday with a p/e ratio of 95.
@GreatSharkHunt1997-nt9pw2 ай бұрын
The forward P/E on DIS is 17. The trailing P/E includes some big write-downs (non-cash expenses) of streaming and legacy media assets. LLY on the other hand does have a triple-digit trailing P/E and a forward P/E over 60.

The people that do well in the markets own stock in good/great companies over a long period of time. The dip on Monday will be looked back on as a buying opportunity where great companies shed 10/20% for no real reason. Don't worry too much about short term headwinds just buy these companies on dips.
@CaptainMarvel0072 ай бұрын
Good/Great companies have a very high P/E ratio, that even with Monday’s dip, it hardly ding on their ridiculous valuations. A more catastrophic drop would need to take place to make those companies more attractive, until then just need to be patient.
@davidflood88812 ай бұрын
@CaptainMarvel007 not all have really high valuations. There are spots where you can find value but valuation is only part of the equation growth is more important to me and when a company like nvidea dropped 30% for no reason it has to be seen as a buying opportunity.
@CaptainMarvel0072 ай бұрын
@@davidflood8881 Had previous shares of NDVA, and it was much cheaper then, Monday’s dip made not so much, just bought a few in case there’s another panic mode between now and November, as the P/E is not as high as LLY, but not as low as TSMC.

The last three indices have all experienced losses in recent weeks, indicating that the market has been struggling during the previous month. I would greatly welcome any advice on how to increase my earnings before retirement as my $400,000 portfolio has decreased by about 20%.

Investors should be especially cautious about their exposure and new purchases in the face of inflation. Obtaining such high yields during a recession is only possible with the assistance of a reputable advisor or competent specialist.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

Cramer you are completely wrong. They would develop drugs even without patent protection. Patents should be limited in scope. say 2 years, then generics can come in. Additionally, if any gov't money was used in the R&D of the drug insurance companies should be required to cover it at 90 percent.
