@@erikpuka2627 well, that Giants D beat everyone including Brady. The Tampa D also shut down Mahomes. It’s not Rodgers’ fault their defense let Kap run for 700 yds and some guy named Raheem Mostert run for 857 yards. And not Rodgers’ fault a back up TE decided to touch an onside kick. All that being said yeah he has to be better. But no QB does it on his own. Can’t blame him for Matt “pretty boy” LaFleur not deciding to cram the box and making Jimmy G beat them. That might suggest something to you. Oh, wait. You are a Giants fan. You need to be led by the hand. The facts are that just about anything you have as a positive for Eli are just headlines and if you look deeper, you will scratch your head on how he managed to make it past his rookie year. SB MVPs? Carried. Someone on the defense should have received it. Top 10 yards and TDs? Anyone playing long enough will get there also. His yards/attempt and TD percentage are pretty much bottom of the barrel for today's QBs. 4x pro bowl? 4 in 16 years? That's a positive? Seriously? Beat Tom Brady in the SB twice? Beating a guy who averages 35 points a game and then he only scores 14 and 17 points has nothing to do with Eli. Those are Eli's highlights and they actually are not that impressive once you look deeper.

Here for the comments lol. Lived in New Orleans when Eli was playing for Newman. If there’s a classier family I’d like to know who they are. Archie is so beloved- and if he felt strongly enough to get Eli outta San Diego then it was warranted. That’s not something Archie would do for no reason. Eli & Payton’s personalities were apparently the same as kids- Peyton would come home from a baseball game screaming about how it went, breaking it down, his performance. Eli would come home walk to his room & say nothing- then when prodded would say he had two home runs & pitched a no hitter lol.

What I love about America is royalty is not a thing in politics, but in business and sport there are just certain families that have that edge and are treated like royalty (not because they lord it over us, but because they are us...just common folks who busted their ass and discovered a mastery of their craft). The Manning's are like American royalty, but they never seem anything but themselves a guys you would feel comfortable having a beer with. Thanks Pat, A.J. and the boys for a really incredible interview and show. FYI Manning bros destroy Monday Night football because.....those of us that love watching football would do anything to be able to hang with them and pick their brain about play calls, the tactical aspects of the game and hear their great stories. The best part about the Manning brothers on ESPN 2 during Monday night football is the feeling of them being in your living room just talking about the game. Personally being from Northern Ireland who lives in New York now, I don't know the little details about why certain things are done on the field and nuances which make me fell like I understand the game better. But I never watched Monday night football start to finish until this came along, I absolutely love it.

ABSOLUTELY love the Mannings' broadcast format. MUCH needed.... Re: Arch- can you imagine that kinda pressure?; that in HIGH SCHOOL, he's already projected to be better than three other QBs in the family, two of whom have both won TWO Super Bowls EACH? Wow.

The Oline DID kill him man... as a giants fan i will never forgive this organization for what they did to Eli. 2015 alone was a travesty, the defense couldnt stop a high school team and the next few years the oline let him down. one season he averaged almost less than a second in the pocket before he pressured.

Praise is in order for you fellas. The MNF with Peyton and Eli seemed to me like a concept heavily borrowed from your show - candid, casual, high-quality analysis from former players, but taken one step further by discussing a game in-progress. Instead of reacting negatively against ESPN, you have embraced it by going on their show and having them on yours. I know you guys were personal friends to begin with, but kudos to you for promoting positivity and collaboration.
