The crazy thing is that when I was a kid Charles Barkley was an absolutely serious lightning rod and easily one of the most controversial athletes of all time. His "I'm Not A Role Model" commercial infuriated people but looking back on it it was totally true. Now Charles Barkley is really mild but back in the day he was considered really radical but you would have never convinced me then that people now would consider him wise but they do.

Nah it probably has nothing to do with money. He even turned down millions from 2k, that's why he isn't in 2k with the rest of Inside in the game. I read articles saying that he plans to retire soon because media is getting soft/restricting what he can say. One example being he can't talk about San Antonio anymore.

I'd love to see Pat, Charles, A.J. and Rodgers all do a couple hours of whatever comes up, together. Would be epic. Just all sitting there asking each other questions and getting the different takes. Throw Shaq in there and it would shut down the internet. Edit: Also, to add, no other show, on television or streamed, brings this kind of vibe. Just glad there is something to watch, to counter all the prima-donna crap, that most shows are turning to. I don't need to be preached to or told how to live. I just want sports and entertainment.
