Eli Tomac Shreds the NEW 2023 Yamaha YZ450F! | GoPro Onboard

We spent the night at Perris Raceway for the 2023 Alpinestars media launch. Along with all their other athletes, Eli Tomac was in attendance and repping the red number-one plate. However, there was a slight change in Eli's setup, as Yamaha had the all-new 2023 YZ450F dressed up for the champ. Before shredding Perris Raceway on a stock 2023 Yamaha YZ450F, we placed our GoPro Hero 10 on Eli's helmet so you could ride along. Check it out!

He started attaking the track just after passing the 2 stroke. But gopro sound sometimes comes out like you are not attacking but he was i think. Also remember that he is on a stock bike, so not as his best with it.

it's odd watching him avoid some of the rough lines. That being said, great testament to how good stock stuff is these days that he can go at about 85% of his speed, 100%in a few of those outside lines, and that stuff holds up. Another observation, he so explosive out of corners that he can just let off down the straights and DECELERATE to the speed alot of rides brake to get to, and not lose anytime. That gives him so much balance in the following corner, that he can just accelerate pretty hard. Entry speed and track flow is just unreal.

Captured the SX title and the MX title same year after switching teams! That's amazing! I personally don't like Ken Roczen but I do hope he can win a 450 title! I love Tomac. Him and RV are my favorite riders of all time, but can we stop using GOAT as a term thrown around so easily. It’s cheapening what it actually means to be the best ever. There’s one GOAT in our sport, and there’s no room for arguing that fact. Numbers don’t lie, and RC is the GOAT. Tomac is no doubt one of the best to ever do it, certainly, but not the GOAT. Sorry.
