Honestly, if you haven't done TFS' Hellsing Abridged, absolutely should. Love CJ, and respect that he gave them a shout out, but half the jokes are the same but done better.

There actually is a reason why Alucard asks Seras if she's a virgin. The reason is because you have to be a virgin in order to be turned into a true vampire (except for Alucard apparently), otherwise you end up turned into a Ghoul. However, Millenium made a chip that can turn people into artificial vampires, which are only capable of creating Ghouls regardless of whether or not their victims were virgins. True vampire transfoemarions requiring you to be a virgin is a part of the original Bram Stoker novel that never gets mentioned in the adaptations, along with lots of other bram stoker lore aspects. Also fun fact, Integra's grandfather is Abraham Van Helsing, the guy who killed Dracula in said novel. However, in Hellsong's version of events, he kicked Dracula's arse so hard he basically forced Dracula into serving his descendants (and it is at this point Dracula basically became Alucard).

There were two things pissed Alucard off something fierce over the course of the series: -making yourself a monster in god's name (he was pissed that Anderson did it because Alucard himself was doing it even before he became a vampire). -disappointing him by acting cowardly after you just got done hyping yourself up (especially Luke and the guy that denied him the UAV).
