I'm so proud of Sebastian! He was smiling and supportive. The fatherly handshake. I love it. Sebastian and Lari are so much alike. I feel like they could spend an entire evening together and grunt 4 times and have a lovely time. LOL I hope Kalle and Katarina's friendship survives. I really love their little household. Finally Elias has stability. A stable home, getting to know his mama and papa better and Matelenna,Katarina and Kalle. Helping Lari through this next phase will take a village.

Oh my goodness! I've backed this clip up more times than a bottom does at a stag party. 1st of all there is the sauna scene "Goodness gracious Great balls of fire". That's togetherness. Great scene. Then there were a pair of boxers "Goodness gracious great balls of fire" I saw Elias' head sorta looking down, my mouth would have been drooling 2.. Well, I have to say this is one of the best scenes between Lari and Elias, even better than their first time. I am very very impressed. I think the scene is one of most natural and smooth ones, not like the other soaps which just try too hard and act too hard to show. It is very natural chemistry.

Acting IS being the character. That's literally what it is. We don't know what's in the script so we have no way of knowing how much of what the actors do is guided by direction. But every GOOD actor is meant to make you believe their performance. You are either a good actor who throws your entire self into a character (regardless of who the character is) or you are a bad actor. Acting is about NOT being you. It's about fully inhabiting the skin of someone else. That's acting That's the point.

Yes the potato rieska is the traditional one. In Finland some rieskas are thicker and some thinner but usually they are really thin and made out of potatoes

For those following in the excellent English translations. When Elias tells his Dad that Lari is a "total sheep" he really means "lamb". Sheep follow you around without question whereas lambs are softies. I'm sure he means the latter. Love your channel.

Yesss! I'm surprised you're the only one who mentioned it. Even if it does look like a little girl's robe, that doesn't prevent it from being true. Who could be more cuddly than Elias? You are correct, but it is a very subtle translation issue: the literal translation of the Finnish word 'lammas' is 'sheep'. According to wiktionary, figuratively 'sheep' means a shy person whereas 'lamb' means a meek person, and the latter more closely resembles the figurative meaning of Finnish 'lammas'.

Did you hear Robbie Rogers, the soccer star who ended retired when he announced he's gay on February reversed his decision and returned to fields. as Lari said, this is all still very new to him - but the fact that he has been talking about telling his dad shows the great progress he is making in accepting his sexuality - little steps - little steps will get him there. His psyche is nothing like Elias, Elias is giving him the strenght, he sort of said that when he thanked Elias for getting him thru his hockey career disappointment

I saw some Rieska that looked like small cakes or large cookie, but I also saw some Potato Rieska that look very much like Lefsa. This is very much like a soft tortilla shell, similar to what a burrito or soft Taco would be wrapped in, except made from Potatoes, flour, a dab of sugar, a pinch of slat, bit of milk or cream, rolled out into a dough like a very thin pie crust, and cooked on a flat griddle. A tradition in our house; found in abundance every Christmas & Thanksgiving.

How do you know they didn't already plan to develop Lari and Elias this way? Their very first kiss had them half naked and alone in a bedroom. Not long after that, they were completely naked in Elias' bed twice. That was before they were even aware of all the international fans. My point is just every storyline has a natural progression and I think the writers have progressed the relationship naturally. They aren't just providing fan service. It's not just about Lari and Elias being naked.

I think sheep was more appropriate in that Lari is following Elias' lead as opposed to bossing Elias around (which is what they were talking about). Lamb implies meek or weak and Larias isn't either of those things. I defer to MissFinlandia but I think "sheep" is more appropriate in this context.

that's what I like. At the begining,I found very difficult to watch some scenes because I felt they were too uncomfortable, some intimate scenes was mechanical, so I was uncomfortable like them. Since They get back together, there is a radical change for me. They are most natural, maybe they got to know each other better in real life. As you say, isn't like most soaps which act too hard to show chemistry or confortable.I really appreciate the evolution of the two actors in their scenes together.
