Hey Miss Finn as a Canadian watcher I too look first thing each day for your posts.It really doesn't seem enough to keep saying Thank You; but without your help in translating these stories for us we would not enjoy them so much. So once again thank you; thank you; We all feel for Lari and his father during this time on this story even thou we no it is just a part in a serial soap we can still empathize with the two gentleman. Coming out is never easy I remember from 60 years ago how hard.

I think theres sunny days too. Missfinlandia said they shoot mostly on winter and the actors have vacations on summer, that's why they don't really have scenes in sunny days.

Just as Ikkia showed up at Elias' for some other reason, so I doubt that Lari is about to come out to his dad. He's right that now is not the time. So probably this cliffhanger is just another tease. A tease is good & keeps us wanting more. Probably soon Lari will find the right time to tell his dad. He can remind him that they want to be able to talk & be open with each other. If Ikkia reacts negatively, he'll likely get over it fairly soon. The show has too much heart for long downers. Thanks!

Thank you. I'm curious about other languages and Finnish is a particularly curious one. I've never even heard of the "essive case" before, I thought getting your head around nominative, accusative, dative and genitive was enough, lol. I thought it would be something idiomatic, as their usually the hardest things to get your head around, where our linguistic ancestors interpreted something just slightly differently. I think after losing his wife, now his father Ikkia will not want to lose Lari. Sure he may be upset or he may already suspect and in deep denial. Whichever it is, he has no one left (assumably) so he will try and be supportive...not at first maybe or he may surprise us and jump in the support pool both feet in but I think it will work out. I think the biggest person Lari has an issue with is still himself. Yes slowly people are finding out but he still has a ways to go, esp w/ peers at school.

Now, of course not - just now here is morning and the sun shines and there is really warm, circa +15-20 °C . We just have long, beautiful winter usually, but in summer here can be sometimes +30°C (thought that's too hot for me xD) All the trees are bright green now and there are flowers everywhere :)
