It just hit me . . . the martial arts classes Kalle took in India will save the day: He throws the crowbar at Marianna when doing a disabling roundhouse kick. Had he and Lari spent the time on the beach, it may have taken longer for the kidnappings, but Kalle would not have saved the day. Thank you, Madame Administrator.

Don't you think Kalle and Miska would make a nice couple lol? If and when Larias get back together they could comfort each other. They seem to get along well.

Why's everyone so hard on Elias and the way he's acting? I think it's interesting to see him like this. He can't help that he's reacting this way. Instead this is more IN CHARACTER if you take his previous actions/feelings into consideration. Clearly he's not feeling well at all at this point of the show and he's far from being that optimistic guy he once was. Give him a break

I am quite sure Elias is the one suffering the most from being the lock-up : physically - I think his health does not recovered fully from a major surgery due to the gunshot; emotionally - from the daily stress of longing for Laris.

William Wong I think you're right. Elias spent a year holding on to his nonexistent love Miska, just because openly gay, as opposed to Lari. He failed for so long to admit that he still loves Lari. He saw that Lari has not only started a relationship with Kalle, but now is also openly gay, as he had always wanted. They had sex hidden, with the respective regrets. It is not yet healed completely after the shooting. Now they were kidnapped. Luckily they were able to tell each other the words very sweet, but obviously the stress of all this period he has much sapped, in fact he even had a panic attack, but fortunately Lari was close to him. Hopefully now the authors give you both a period of respite! in italiano Credo tu abbia ragione. Elias ha passato un anno aggrappato al suo inesistente amore per Miska, solo perché apertamente gay, al contrario di Lari. Non è riuscito per tutto questo tempo ad ammettere che continua ad amare Lari. Ha visto che Lari non solo ha iniziato una relazione con Kalle, ma adesso è anche apertamente gay, come lui aveva sempre voluto. Hanno avuto dei rapporti sessuali nascosti, con i rispettivi rimorsi. Non è ancora guarito completamente dopo la sparatoria. Adesso sono stati rapiti. Per fortuna sono riusciti a dirsi l'un l'altro delle parole molto dolci, ma evidentemente lo stress di tutto questo periodo l'ha molto fiaccato, infatti ha anche avuto un attacco di panico, ma per fortuna Lari era vicino a lui. Speriamo che adesso gli autori diano a tutti e due un periodo di tregua!

isapostolos This is a great comment that shows you are aware of the character Pettari is playing as Elias. Sometimes the plot gets a little shakey like on any soap - but the characters stay on point in their character portrayels. Elias plays young, naive, and pretty helpless in any stressful situation. His complete trust and innocence is constantly broken by plot situations.

I associate him so totally with Soapland's version of Helsinki - it's hard to think that Miami and New Orleans are on the same planet. Miska is such a jerk. No matter how pissed I am that my boyfriend is somewhere with his ex, I wouldn't shut up until I have some answers but he just sits there and does nothing about it and even if someone has a plan he's skeptical and doesn't really show that he cares. Lari and Elias are quite awesome together but I think Lari deserves Kalle more. I never really liked Miska, so I think for them it'd be better if they take a break.

Great thoughts and comments as always. Kalle willing to consider some truth to Janne's story for longer than Miska. Oh and a did thnk Janne was daft to turn his back on a woman he thought was mad and capable of kidnapping, but it turned out to be a plan. Phew. For some time now I've been wondering how big Ismo and Kalle's apartment is. We know Ismo will have his own room, and Kalle his. Lari has the spare room, but where do Sanni and Kristiina sleep? Do they share? Have a room each? Kristiina and Ismo share? It would appear to have 4 or 5 bedrooms! Or maybe the writers haven't considered that. Then I think about Sebastian and Elias' apartment. They have a room each and Oliver probably has his own as well. Maybe Heidi does have a three bedroom apartment, with one room being very small and that's where her clothes are. Miska could have seen this box room (as we often call them in Britain) and thought it was Marianna's and that Heidi just had a two bedroom apartment, like Katariina (if that was a two-bed). He doesn't live in the block, and has only seen the two apartments that Elias has lived in. He might not have realised. Anyway, the comedy continues . . .

Where is this supposed to be in Helsinki? One of the shots in this video made me think of Kruununhaka. I stayed there for a while and had views of the north harbour and the Orthodox Cathedral. However, when I was last there - last year - I looked at the price of apartments in central Helsinki. Voi hyvänen aika! They are colossally expensive, hundreds of thousands, indeed millions of Euros. Are the families of people like Elias and Kalle etc supposed to be that rich?

LOL Hollyoaks looks like oscar worthy compared to this show, and that´s truly the most hilarious and ridiculous and less realistic soap from the UK. But oh well, when I was a teenager we had a show like this in Spain and I still loved to watch it for the gay characters (that was 15 years ago). British tv is truly better than what we get in the rest, their big soaps are amazing.

Sadly, my guess is the producers do not think they can justify the expense for multi-language translations. A show on Telemundo that I enjoyed the gay storyline of was broadcast with English subtitles, but was not available (after so many days?) online. I found the English subtitles added by enthusiasts here on KZbin. I wanted to watch the entire show, but no DVDs are available. Comcast has the media used for broadcast. Perhaps, they do not see a market, the telenovella may not have been popular enough to justify mastering DVDs. I can order in Spanish restaurants, but following dialogue is impossible for me. The grand ending was easy to understand based on events wrapping everything up. I wish you best in finding a MissBrazil.
