JordanjamesX I don't really know if Kalle's being immature exactly, I think it's more about him getting back the family he lost when he was a teenager and now he's clinging to it even if it's weird. If I remember right his mom moved out when he was just a kid and his dad was being a pain to him and his sister (sexist and two-stantarded basically) and then Kalle came out to him and was thrown out. And now years later he's gotten a chance to have the dream family he always wanted. And I guess partly it's because he's been through a lot (fucked up relationships, rape, etc.) so now that things are somewhat simple, he doesn't want to complicate it. And partly there's the fear that he'll get old without having a family on his own.

I love lari take charge assertive attitude he is my favorite gay male character on television. Lari is so smart he knows kalle well but I think I am starting to see what people are saying about kalle. The man is 35 years old but since he has been coddled by his parents his entire life emotionally he is too immature for lari. Lari seems like a guy who wants a man for a boyfriend not a wimp.

JordanjamesX I don't see how Kalle was coddled. He was beaten by his father and thrown out, after which he became a rent boy. He then moved to south America with a boyfriend and only recently came back. He's barely SEEN his family, and was often running from them. Being "coddled" was never part of it. I agree he's a bit immature, but being unable to take care of himself, or being protected, isn't part of it.

Lari and Kalle don't look at all like boyfriends/couples.. They are more polite with each other than close friends. btw, being late for a meeting will be a least-of-all happening to a chief physician, who needs to take much much higher stress than missing a meeting.

One thought I had was maybe Ismo called Kalle back and let him use his car. So, I decided to check the episodes when Lari and Elias borrowed it. We don't actually see all of the car, but it's a different shade of red (assuming light in winter doesn't change it that much from light in summer). Kalle is acting strange. It could be from the accident. It could be from embarrassment about turning up late and hungover (and popping all those pills). It could be, as Demetrius Bagley commented in another comment, the realities of his personal and professional life - younger boyfriend and high profile job in a homophobic workplace. It could be from another incident on the way in. It could be something completely different. I think we're going to have to wait til Friday, or next week.

I get that they're trying to make Kalle seem guilty but they're not doing a good job. If an ordinary person (no psychopath) harms others by accident they tend to be much more uneasy than this. I just feel him being upset over the fact that he messed up his first day as promoted. If it turns out he is guilty I will be very disappointed with this show.

I still think that the issue at work (and with Kalle's mother) was not that Kalle is gay the issue was that Kalle (who is a prominent physician in his mid 30s) wanted to bring his teenager boyfriend with him on a business trip when he was supposed to be working, not on vacation. Whatever we think about Lari and Kalle outside of Kalle's job, that is just unprofessional and I can't imagine they would have thought any differently if Lari had been a teenaged girl. It's just not appropriate, IMO. Work is work, personal is personal. It was an immature thing for Kalle to try to do and he handled it badly all around. He wasn't honest or straight forward with his boss or his boyfriend. He just avoided all conflict until it was unavoidable then he threw a strop because he didn't get his way and he treated Lari like a child in the process. Kalle has always been out at work. Everyone knows he is gay. The entire staff knows he's gay and has always known given how none of them are surprised. His mother may not have been in his life but she also knew he was gay. If homophobia was the issue Kalle would never have been recommended for promotion ( or have had the opportunity to go on the work trip). Everyone here seems to think his boss was homophobic. I think she is just overbearing and judgmental but it had more to do with Lari being a teenager and how that would be perceived if Kalle brought him on a work trip to a foreign country than it was about Lari being male. The only snide remake she made was about Lari's age, not him being a man. Not saying she was right to judge Kalle but not everything is about homophobia. Not everything is about homophobia. Even Kalle's mother has said many times that Lari's age makes her uncomfortable, not the fact that he is a man. I know a lot of loving moms who would be given pause if their 35 year old son was dating an 18/19 year old just out of high school. We can't just blame every character of homophobia because they don't approve of Lari and Kalle. I think Lari is old enough to know what he wants and who he wants and that's good enough for me but I STILL think he and Kalle are not well suited to each other romantically (regardless of how mature Lari is). I also think Kalle is incredibly IMMATURE for his age and in the long run that will cause problems for him and Lari.

JordanjamesX I don't know is it the language barrier or what but at least here in Finland everyone thinks it's obvious because of the way he acts and reacts to the accident being mentioned. He's weird and not his own self, something has happened - what else could it be than that Kalle hit her? Besides almost the whole episode concentrated on Kalle and Kalle was at the hospital so quickly after the scene with Kristiina/Ismo and compared to other events in the show he must have used some vehicle to get there - he rented a car because he didn't get a taxi. So the writers at least want to make viewers think it was Kalle. Of course there's possibility Kalle is feeling guilty for something else and wasn't the driver but at this point we are supposed to believe the driver is Kalle.

LariasForever The actress who played Katariina, at the beginning of the story of Elias, it was replaced with another actress. There are many episodes of rapprochement momentary and also intercourses between Elias and Lari, both while Elias was still with Miska, and also when Lari was with Kalle. The two of them were kidnapped by Marianna for weeks, chained in the same room (it was the room of crazy Marianna) the room where, now, Lari sleeps with his gorgeous body, and unfortunately fucks with Kalle. You must be tenacious and willing, to watch all the episodes until today, most likely Elias will return, even if you do not know when and I hope that the story will end well for the two boys. Otherwise you will have to go to Freemantle and raze their studios! And scatter the salt on the ruins. LOL. in italiano L'attrice che interpretava Katariina, all'inizio della storia di Elias, è stata sostituita con un'altra attrice. Lei è andata a presentare un altro programma, lasciando tutti noi disperati perché lei era, non solo molto bella, ma anche molto brava e perfetta per il suo personaggio. Poi lei è stata rilasciata, ma ha dovuto lasciare la Finlandia ed è sparita. Ci sono molti episodi di riavvicinamento momentaneo e anche di amplessi tra Elias e Lari, sia mentre Elias era ancora con Miska, sia anche quando Lari stava con Kalle. Loro due sono stati sequestrati da Marianna per settimane, incatenati nella stessa stanza (che era la stanza della pazza Marianna) la stanza dove, ora, dorme Lari con il suo splendido corpo, e purtroppo fotte con Kalle. Devi essere tenace e volonteroso, per guardare tutti gli episodi fino ad oggi, molto probabilmente Elias ritornerà, anche se non si sa quando e spero che la storia finirà bene per i due ragazzi. Altrimenti sarà necessario andare alla Freemantle e radere al suolo i loro studi! E spargere il sale sulle macerie. Ha ha.

I even followed him on instagram even though i dont understand his status updates,hahaha. How i wish i can be tenacious watching the rest of the episodes but without Elias on the storyline I just can't. I think there are more episodes where Elias is hurting than being happy with Lari. Is Rony Roslof the guy who plays lari Finnish his last name is not Finnish. Ronny last name sounds dutch or maybe German.

JordanjamesX It's Swedish family name and perfectly normal in Finland. You know we were part of Sweden for centuries in the past and also Swedish is the second official language of Finland and everyone has to learn to speak Swedish. Because of the shared history many Finns have Swedish family names it's really common and Ronny has one too. His family name consists of the words ros = rose and löf = leaf. And Ronny is 100% Finnish and Finnish is his native language. He's also fluent in Swedish because he has lots of friends who speak Swedish as their first language (5% of the Finns speak Swedish as their first language and these people live in capital and coastal areas). Little fact pack here for you :)
