Elias' story part 72

So the next part is here :)
Because of Christmas the next and last part before winter break doesn't air until Thursday so that's when the story will continue. Merry Christmas everybody :)
Some background info: they are going to Baltic Sea Gala. A king and queen will be crowned there, called Ahti and Vellamo. Matleena and Tale are nominated for the titles.

This is a great storyline because it shows the difficulty of one person in a relationship being out of the closet and the other guy is in the closet. I can really relate to this on a personal level from my own life it sucks sometimes to love someone yet still be unhappy at the same time.

Hey there, Thanks for all the great uploads of this story that we may enjoy. Your right about Lari giving in to his friends & relying only on pleasing them but there's always 2 sides to the coin. Lari is a hopeless romantic and he shows his true feelings to Elias when their alone together, that is basically where he can be himself without being judged. Also the other aspect is that Lari is apart of a sport where his actions are watched closely by other team members and they rely on Lari.

Yes I didn't include the end scene cos it was about Matleena and Tale, but they did show Lari cheering and laughing for the whole thing like more than anybody. So one more reason for Tale to hate Lari...

for some reason I think the only way Lari is going to come out fully is if something serious happens to Elias (accident, sickness, etc) and he can't take it anymore. If Lari truly loves Elias more then his hockey career and teammates/friends that may be the only way for him to come clean...but I don't want anything to happen to Elias... however I think Lari is going to have to come dangerously close to losing Elias for him to realize just how much he loves him.... (hopefully that makes sense)

Usually the break has started already before Christmas but I believe cos of ice hockey and other things that have taken the air time of this show during past fall, they still have had episodes left to show also during/after Christmas this year until the planned winter break climax episode.

That's what happened. Matleena and Tale were crowned as Ahti and Vellamo, but it was only revenge from other teens cos they got caught of writing other teens' essays which also meant trouble for those who had ordered the essays. So they got nice blood and yucky stuff shower after being crowned lol

Anyone else notice that Elias' colouring is almost silver. Earlier he was definitely less attractive than Lari but now he has gapped him in the looks stakes. He is doing a superb job and who wouldnt be miserable with a coward like Lari as a partner.

Elias deserves better than Lari treating him like a second hand towel. Granted he could have danced with the girl but kissing her in front of Elias is pure evil. Had a 'Lari' once, never changed, still closeted, been married 4 times. Run into him at High School reunions and he always says the same thing "Should have thrown caution to the wind and gone with you". The line "......the saddest thing is what could have been". Don't wait 'Lari's' are a dime a dozen and so are their excuses.

What do you mean with like before? Yes here has been couple times that Larias episodes have started again after some break on Wednesday, but many times they have also started on Thursday, Tuesday etc. there's no certain weekdays for that. This week the next episode airs on Thursday because of Christmas the show didn't air yesterday and will not air today either. But yes tomorrow we will get the final episode of the year :)

Yes, Kalle is with Katariina and he is a doctor as well. Kalle (and the same actor) was in the series also over 10 years ago in 1999 when the series was brand new. You can check original "Kalle's story" in "sininentomaatti" channel. Whereas "Elias' story" is tender, "Kalle's story" tends to be rough then and now. It was the first gay storyline in this series.

Lari clearly didnt want to dance or kiss that girl, Janne really put him on the spot. And it's not like he was getting hot and heavy with her, he looked uncomfortable. I just hope Lari talks to Elias about it later :( I agree with LukielsAngel when s/he said that Lari is only going to come out if something really serious happens to Elias and he comes dangerously close to losing him. As much as I dont want Elias hurt, if that's what's needed to push him out then so be it. And make it happen soon!

I dont blame Lari, he isnt ready to come out, he's being a coward about it but then we all know how his fears are totally not irrational. You cant force someone to readily accept something like this, not even to himself, since he has conditioned himself since young that being gay is shameful, and that he's used to being manly,etc2x. He is doing a lot of mistake but this is highschool man, its that time where you try to find who u are, and to guys like Lari, hiding is a common reflex.

It's unisex bathroom. But isn't the common way here, usually men and women have their own toilets. But some bars have this kind of unisex bathroom, rare though. But I guess the writers have found the unisex bathroom useful for juicy scenes so that's why they have made one to this show lol

Elias is so handsome in that white suit! Tale I find is quite cute looking, especially with his geeky personality. Kalle is quite good looking - I didn't realize until now that it is the same Kalle from "Kalle's story" here on YT even the same actor (I didn't know they were the same show, forgive me O_o lol). Amazing how far advanced Finland is to us here in North America where we are now only getting gay characters in our soaps lol

It was revenge of Vanessa and others for Tale and Matleena getting caught of writing essays to others by their teacher, which also meant all the people who had ordered the essays got big trouble.

As much as I dislike what Lari did, I still somehow partly understand him too after Janne was basically pushing him to do it and Lari probably thought saying no would lead Janne and others suspecting his sexuality so he once again did something stupid in panic like back in the pier when he pushed Elias to the ground so that Janne and the gang won't realize anything. Lari just needs to stop overreacting when he is in bad situation and start to think about Elias' feelings more.

I know that Lari was being pushed by Jenna but he shouldn't have leaned in himself after Jenna was gone. You don't necessarily have to tell your peers that you are straight by kissing some sort of new chicks at a party!!! And ESP when your bf Elias was around. Lari got pushed into the situation by Janne. Its obvious that he is avoiding much physical contact with the girl that's why he is conversing but here comes Janne and egged him into the situation which I believe if he didn't acted upon that way would be humiliating for the girl and a bit questionable for his straight male friends. Also I think Janne egged him so Ida can be over Lari completely. But I do hope Lari gets the courage to be who he is before he lose Elias in the process.

I am kinda waiting for some big fight between them - after that things will come out. The sexual tension you could cut with a knife.

The actors are very good . That is the opinion of most of us who follow this series .They are extremely believable , and likeable for the most part. If you're looking for something with " stilted " acting then this probably isn't something you'd enjoy watching .
