Elias' story part 84

The next part is finally here and continues tomorrow :)
I have divided this episode into 2 parts: In first scene we have both Ida and Larias. But after that first only the Larias-related scenes until about 5.30 of the video and then all Ida related scenes until the end. So if one wants to skip Ida's story it is easier this way :)

It was accident, she drove over her in dark winter weather. But after she realized what she had done she went into shock and didn't call help for Maria but drove away. Maria was only found in the morning after she had been lying hours in the cold badly injured. If she had gotten help earlier she might have survived. So Isabella actually didn't murder her but left her to die, though she was in shock. Still doesn't give excuse for what Isabella did....

Also, look at the actor playing Janne...in some of his scenes with Ida he is beginning to show inner life behind his eyes, which is also appropriate to the story because challenging events and disappointments are what deepen young people. Now I wish the show would give these actors longer scenes in which to demonstrate their skills. I keep feeling like emotional scenes for Lari and Elias are filmed like drive-by shootings.

I get that he was disappointed in not being able to go to Rome together, but that reaction was just blech. :/ On the plus side, I love that missfin is dedicating so much time and effort to bring us this story at all, so a HUGE thanks for that! In my opinion both Ronny and Petteri are great actors when it comes to looks in their eyes, showing emotions etc in normal talking scenes. But on the other hand I have to agree the scenes where they are supposed to do PDA are not always really good. There are great kisses too but some are not so good. But I think the director also has a word to say on how they are supposed to kiss so I think these small kisses are just part of the script instead of big passionate ones...

I have seen WAY too many series uploaders like missfin who dedicate their free time to bring us these shows get frustrated by people making demands on them in every video... Eventually they get stressed out and end up stopping their stream. This is a community, but the community only exists if we value the uploaders and are greatful for whatever they can do for us. If you have been following Missfin's channel, you will know that these demanding people are increasing. It needs to stop now.

And for all those Ida haters out there I just make the storyline go my way and she moves to Rome and becomes a nun.....:-) that makes my day. Kalle is not related to Elias. Kalle left the show after 3 years with his boyfriend Kuisma. He returned to the show 10 years later in the last episode of last spring after spending years in Brazil :)

I respect your opinion but I wanted to tell you this is the way they act in Finland, not just in this show. In here showing emotions is not so dramatic but simple and also speaking might sound emotionless when it isn't in reality. It's a very culture related thing, things are get simple cos that's how Finnish people usually behave. If they acted here like they act in Bold and the Beautiful or DOOL it would be considered fake and unrealistic.

He was excited when Lari told him a scout saw him. The moment he found out Lari wouldn't make the trip to Rome he pouted. Yes, I understand he's disappointed, but it's not like Lari said, "I can't go to Rome, I have to do my laundry that night" or something. This is REALLY important for Lari and I would hope Elias (in the next episode) will be able to put aside his disappointment and say, "That's awesome! I'm so happy for you." That's all. No big deal.

Possibly. But it's not like Lari said, "I'm moving there indefinitely as of tomorrow." He said the camp was two weeks, and Elias' response was "I guess I'm going to Rome alone." It came across (to me) that he was more upset that his trip was canceled. But this is Lari's dream, and even if it's hard for Elias to accept, he should try and be supportive. A little bit. In my opinion. Just a bit.

No, he said the camp lasts for two weeks and "After that I might be able to stay there and play hockey." Might. And again- Elias' response was not, "Oh no. I'm going to miss you!" it was "I guess I'm going to Rome alone." Obviously, we have different ideas about the scene, and that's OK. 10 people can watch it and have 10 differing opinions. No harm done. :)

For some is hard to understand that people have their own opinions and we should respect them no matter if we agree or not. Who is he/she to tell someone to stop watching or to make comments, because HE / SHE doesn't want to hear them...? I'm not trying to change your opinion, just maybe give an alternate viewpoint. Until a few months ago, Lari had his entire life planned out for himself, and his biggest goal was to play professional hockey. Now he has a chance to get some real exposure, and Elias' only response was "I am obviously going to Rome by myself." Lari was so excited and he came over to share the news with Elias- probably the first person he told- and Elias turned away and pouted. To me, that was a bit selfish.

I can possibly see something bad coming (I've nothing to base this on from S.A. so far) but really hope from GTST in Holland FoQ in Spain that S.A doesn't repeat the trend...i.e unhappy ending. Elias isn't exactly the opposite of tragic currently - he never seems happy and despite his good intentions in life, luck more often than not seems against him so far.

I really, really think that in the next episode Lari will say "Aren't you happy for me?" and Elias will give him a big kiss and all will be forgiven. :) On a side note, I read in the comments that in real life, Elias is a big hockey player. It would be AWESOME if the writers had an episode where Lari teaches him how to play, and they find out that Elias is like a hockey prodigy and they start playing together! haha... Whatever happens, I do like them together and I hope they work it out.

I personally don't even notice "bad" acting since I have been in scenarios where people are like this in real life. I will say they are not exuberant or show the most obnoxious expressions, but I can't say that it is "bad" acting since I have no knowledge nor experience in how the parts would be acted in a "good" way. I feel they all have personalities. Some people are extremely restraint. I dated one who would never smile or even frown. Didn't mean he was emotionless, though. Just complicated.

I thought their scene on the bench was convincing, except for the kiss. Imo, that's actually an improvement. I think soaps are rushed, and the director isn't doing retakes and pushing the actors to do better at something they're uncomfortable with. Maybe if they had to keep kissing until they got it right, they'd be more motivated? ㋡

In my opinion Lari is only interested in Lari. Elias should go on with his life and forget any type of future with him. To me 'this thing' with Lari is something that will break his heart, now and in the years to come. Elias needs to break it off now and save yourself the continuing pain. Been there, done that!
