She is very very very expressive to show her feelings when singing the sad ones, she just feels the pain and loss and it just remembering. I thought that she looks exhausted from the tours, but i can feel that she was very sad. Despite this fact, her vocals are unique, full of passion for music and very versatile, none of her live performances does not looks the same. She just improvises continuosly and adapts so quickly. Check out Aretha Franklin and Etta James. Nothing original under this sun. She definitely was one of the few special singers who was lucky enough to feel every note... Feel each of them so deeply, she forces us to acknowledge their precious delicate power before dissolving to echos. I agree, it was so raw and unique but beautiful and expressive. She worked very hard and listened to a lot of singers and tunes to develop her style and special appearance fashioned from looking through fashion mags from the 50’s and 60’s to come up with her persona
