When I saw the first one, I jokingly asked myself “What if these are all happening i succession and none of them bothered to tell the others that MC is changing.” Like it was just a line of boys standing outside MC’s room, going in to say happy birthday, and leaving with very different reactions as they pass by everyone else. I said jokingly.

And if that happen to me irl, I would be really annoyed or even dislike whoever person who enter my room without my permission, no matter who they are. But I still like this video because it's funny, not because it's about this trope. Better not take this trope too seriously, or else I'm just gonna make myself angry.

Actually, that's in reference to the birthday present he gives MC. He covers them with the blanket and then gives them the present. One version of the prefect's birthday greetings has Jade give them something that he says needs to be opened in secret. It's a running joke that he gives them a gun or something else illegal.
