You, are a Queen! I watched about 30secs of a video and just knew I had to subscribe. I just know I can like all your videos without even watching the whole video! So now I’m binge watching all your videos, having a giggle and critical thinking at my current house plans feeling both chuffed and disappointed at all my ideas 🥴 thankfully, I’ll get to have a walk through in ‘Plan Lab’ here (in South Australia) before we sign our life away with any final plans. We're in this process now. Designing in 1/2 scale works for me and I've made card stock cutouts of all our required furniture, etc. We then play house - will this go here or here? This has been very helpful for my wife who needs to 'see' what it will look like in a more dimensional way that just a bare plan. Thanks for all your helpful videos.

Excellent Advice. I've been designing a sizeable addition for our home over the past few months. I will definitey keep these tips in mind. Had no idea about the stove vent. There's definitely a lot to consider. I don't know if you have any videos on the most practical kitchen solutions for a home, but if so, I'm very interested to watch. It's such an involved room and there are a multitude of considerations. It's overwhelming.

One of the more important things that is often overlooked is the TV location, both distance and Height off the floor. There are recommended distances for TV to sofa etc and they are Important! Seriously, not everyone wants to look at the TV from 22 feet! Height: IMO the TV above fireplaces is one of the more idiotic things that was ever conceived. In every way, its a mess. These are a modern necessity to consider in interior design, and one many designers fail to convey to the people paying them for advice.
