Fun fact: When the weather app gives you that percentage with the rain it doesn't mean the chances to rain. Let's say it says 20% rain in your area, that means that out of all of your area only 20% of it's surface area will have rain, NOT that are 20% chances to rain in that area.

I got my Eliminator in May, 3,000 miles already! I absolutely love this bike. I'm with you on the seat. That is the only thing I would replace. I use my bike for almost all of my transportation, my truck sits like yours. I added a small windshield as I'm on the interstate equal amounts to the back roads. Very helpful to combat the wind. I am not a fan of cruisers, but I swear this isn't a cruiser. It's quick and nimble, and has all the power I need. Love this bike!

How about the mirrors? I just got it, 150 Kms ago, and I already hate them... all I see is shoulders.
@susanl31362 ай бұрын
@@SasoStojanovski I expected to have to replace them because every review has that complaint. However, I am a 5'4" woman... I'm guessing since my shoulders are less broad, they work fine for me 🤷

Im deciding between the Kawasaki Eliminator 450 & the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 , Eliminator is lighter bike & more powerful , but the Enfield has much more dash technology, so im torn between the two bikes 🤔🤔 Ate you familiar with the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 ??? & have an opinion between Kawasaki Eliminator & Royal Enfield Guerrilla ??? Steve from Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺🕺🍹
@Matthewsmith-202426 күн бұрын
Just looked into the 450 Guerrilla. It's a handsome bike for sure. In terms of fashion, I'd say they're about on par, but I am biased towards the eliminator. When you look at function. It really depends on what kind of riding you'll be doing. If you're mostly going to be on country roads cruising, either one would be excellent. The 450 Guerrilla might be a bit better in the suspension on the rougher roads. If you're wanting to venture on the highway from time to time. The eliminator would be better suited. As for the technology, I'm afraid I'm not the best one to ask. The dash & sat nav, and all seem cool, but as long as i have tac, speedo, and fule, I'm content. I just use my phone for everything else.

Glad I came across this update review on the Eliminator! Question: how are high speed rides with no windshield? Is that an accessory that can be added?
@Matthewsmith-20242 ай бұрын
@TheGreystoneManor The wind is pretty rough. There's basically nothing diverting the airflow. I'm sure you can get a windshield, but I haven't looked. My commute is rather short, and aside from that, I'm mostly on country roads. I could've used one on my trip to tail of the dragon. That day was about 7 hours of riding. I'd recommend one if you're gonna be on the highway a lot.
@susanl31362 ай бұрын
@@TheGreystoneManor I decided to put a 12" tall windshield on mine, it has helped a ton. I'm 5'4" and have a short torso, so it works fine for me, but if you're taller, the wind might still get your face and head. I think I got mine off T-Rex website. There is a 16" tall shield as well. Really easy to install.

@@susanl3136 this is awesome! Thank you so much for the info! I’ll be checking out that windscreen because I’m 5’10” and would love something to break up the wind around my torso
@jonathandayne28 күн бұрын
You mentioned you were a big guy... May I ask height and weight? I'm 5'10" and 225. And for me the suspension jars me pretty hard. I upped the preload a couple notches, but I don't want it to be too stiff, since my wife is 100 pounds less. Where do you have yours set? I wouldn't mind upgrading the suspension to accommodate my weight , but don't want to do that if it won't be appropriate for her. So I might try a seat cushion of some sort to take the edge of a bit. Do bad roads jar you pretty bad? Otherwise I love the bike! Thanks for any feedback you have!
@Matthewsmith-202428 күн бұрын
@jonathandayne I'm 6'3 at 230 the suspension could be better for sure. I just figured I was spoiled from riding dirt bikes my whole life. Haven't really moved my preload more than a noch from stock. I did recently get a seat cover to add a little more cushion for the longer rides, and so far, it's been fantastic. Also, great on cutting down the vibrations. That said, the bumps in the road still hit. I usually just shift my weight to the pegs if I can't avoid a bump outright.

Few reviewers have mentioned that the Eliminator might get boring after a period of owning, what do you think about that?
@Matthewsmith-20242 ай бұрын
@rajeevwx I would kind of agree. It depends on what you do and who you ride with. If you ride on the highway a lot and / or with people who like to go past cars like they're standing still, then yeah, you'll likely get tired of the eliminator quickly. If you do a lot of riding on long, twisty country roads, then you'll enjoy the eliminator for a lot longer. Personally, I go back and forth on if I want something faster or not. I usually just think I want something faster whenever people with faster bikes blow right past me on the highway, and I'm not going slow either. They'll just be doing like 110-120 😅

@Matthewsmith-2024Ай бұрын
@equalfps I like both. Had to go with the eliminator because of my height. Just didn't fit on the rebel. The rebel is an excellent looking bike, but I may be a little bise in favor of the eliminator since it's the one I bought. They're both about on par with power/fule economy. The eliminator might be slightly more efficient, but the difference is negligible. I say go with whichever one you could see yourself riding for years.
