Elin had another seizure spiral but this time we were ab;e to manage her at home and not have to go to hospital.

I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

Dioralyte does have a bit of sugar in it however if you worry about lpw blood sugar when you can only run dipralyte you can get glucose powder in lloyds pharmacies it's a tin and it's pretty good value too you can add this along with the dioralyte just make sure you mix one at a time thoroughly I usually use 2 electrolyte tablets dissolve them then put 1 ot 2 teaspoons of the glucose powder and give it a good shake and run it and just keep an eye if it's going super slow it may need an extra shake occasionally but it does pretty good I find , I'm glad she's on the mend x

if you get a port, then they might be able to train you to do IV fluids at home which might help keep elin out of hospital.

Poor sweet Elin xx. Helen is having seizures to quite a lot I don't no why last week she had a fit.. it shit me a bit.. Monday I was waiting all day for neurology to call they playing silly Buggers a bit

Hi Tova ,Elin and Alice. I’m glad Elin is on the mend. You must be so relieved that, due to your brilliant medical mummying, she could avoid going to hospital. With regards to Alice and Elin playing with the ballon and Alice opening her hands. Can Elin still feel things through her hands and fingers even though she doesn’t move them very much?

Yeah my daughter has Angelman syndrome and albinoism and she only went through about three seizures and she takes keppra too they give her about 200 for dosage so since last week she's been all right.
