A minor but thing but helpful is that trees consumes .5 land fertility allowing technically the highest yield per plant Also the watering can does effect the trees shortening their 40 day requirement to 20 and with fertilizer reducing another 10 percent to 16 Mushrooms can also be grown next to what your planting as a quick fertilizer and food item The biggest problem IMO is that you need to wait till the trees wither to be able to get your plus seeds to restart this process Which is why I recommend tree farming to always be done right after winter for maximum gains Very much the hurry up and wait vocation of farming but also the most profitable

You can also use a sickle on fruit trees when the fruits are hanging on them to get fruit tree seeds. I like to visit palmia? Capital visit their apple tree garden and sickle all the trees for apple tree seeds. Doesn’t even count as a crime and gives no bad karma lol

This was just what I was planning on working on today lol, I want to get that passive income. Also, a super cheesy way to move heavy things, that only works in the first 90 days since you need to die, like, alot. If you just pick up a heavy object on the edge of the map, and go to global map, you die, but your stuff is now sitting on the global map. You can pick it up from one tile away and repeat the process. It's how I got the shrine that was right next to my base into it lol

I got them all through RNG in the Vernis mine, but you still get squashed to death getting it to the surface. The biggest boost to my home ranking was getting the King Bed and then upgrading it with wrenches from Miral's workshop.

There's also a free generator in the truce grounds that adds around 20k wealth if you take it back to your base. I was also wondering where I could trade the small medals I keep getting from nefias and it turns out that you can trade these to an npc(Miral) to get precious weapons (God tier), a container that can be converted to a freezer that can store 100+ items and even be upgrade further. There's also other interesting items such as books that summons a permanent ally that could be a resident, monster balls etc. You could follow the wiki guide on where small medals are hidden in static locations all around every cities you could travel in the world map. Big spoiler warning though to anyone that hasnt explored much of the map yet.

I already tried the small medal trade rush with a new save file and it's definitely doable before even the 90 days beginner trial ends. I bought the Zephyrs wrath that cost 44 medals and gave it to my little Girl companion and watched her destroy all the early game mobs 😂. I tried going to a higher difficulty area but the weapon alone cant carry enough, stats among other things are also important, but its a nice starting bonus weapon to consider.

@@jonathannorthcutt5793 Miral and Garokk's workshop is located south of Noyel, you can find Noyel by going north east, at the snowy area. I recommend creating a backup save to find it. It's visible on the boundary between the forest and snowy biome. It's easy to miss and I went past over it on my first attempt to find it.

Hey Kessel, been playing Elin a ton lately, been finding it to be one of the sandbox games ever. Keep putting these videos up! I need help I'm always so lost! lol - if you need ideas - I need help understanding why my iron microphone is doing more damage as a throwable object (throwing rank 10) (currently 2d21+4) versus an actual obsidian assault rifle (gun rank 12) (currently 1d15+1, with 3d3+1 iron bullets). I'm trying really hard to build a gun toting musician, but the microphone is too powerful. Praise be to Mani.

Maybe you need more marksmanship?... But actually I don't think it will help cos my mic is doing 2d43+7 damage and practically have more damage then literally GODS weapons. Mic only lacks passive but when you throw this Hellish Thing like a infinity grande... You don't need one.

I think overall throwing weapons are just way overtuned. I have the same thing going on--my iron mic is doing more damage than a putit in amber (2d32 (33 avg) vs 2d24 (25 avg) or something), and both are doing more damage than any ranged weapon I have despite having decent marksmanship and bow skills. My bows are doing like 2d10+4, plus another 2d4 from the arrows--which is about 29 damage. Ranged weapons can get slots to modify their abilities, e.g. to do bonus damage to specific enemies, which can put them ahead, but it's situational and they're never used via auto attack. (My char always uses the Putit in amber instead too despite the mic hitting harder with the same accuracy)

If you got to the southern area in Palmia to the Fortune Bell Casino and play the basketball shooting game (670 ms?). The prize vendor also gives you an option to buy a tax box a day. Super easy to get.

A quick question do the lumberjack signs allow trees to be replanted automatically when harvested when harvested from an NPC I haven’t tested it since it’s a long time to wait if they don’t wither and I have to re-acquire the tree seeds But I am very interested if that’s a possible use

Yes! As far as I know it does work with trees but it does decrease efficiency slightly as compared to manual labour.

Thank you! I appreacite it! So you can technically use a home board to see the 'worth' of the items you place on the ground, just like in the video (hover over the scale icon at the homeboard). This requires a bit of a set up and it's probably not the best use for the land. Other technique would involve selling and item through the shipping chest. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any items currently in the game that would allow you to see the value of items. I would love for something like this to be added to the game (like a stethoscope for items!).

My small experimentation with adventurer ranking suggested, that it is being increased via clearing dungeons (the same way it is calculated for the fighters guild, via killing the dungeon boss), increasing combat related stats and skills and conquering other adventurers in a duel. I suspect, but I am not sure that guild ranks might have to do something with the ranking, I would not put the fame being a factor as well, but again no direct evidence

You need to buy travel rations from innkeepers, then click the fast travel button on the world map (in the bottom right corner next to the inventory/character buttons)

Hi @TheLukeH ! Thank you! @vidyaslime1136 has explained the fast travel bit extremely well! In regards to the portals, these are 'starweaver's moongates'. You can get these for free at the tinker's camp (check out the Nino the caravan master). This allows you to visit maps published by other users (players)! It's a cheesy way to get access to a lot of stations early on or to draw some inspiration for your own base.

You would probably get squashed unless you golem max to a life of 180 for the 3-5 turns you need to teleport the best use would definitely be getting a delivery box then shipping it to your base Since 1K stones is super hard to carry

In regards to ranking, I believe the higher your rank the more taxes you need to pay. So if you have the tax free land policy active, and are also not making money from tourism, then it's best to keep your ranking as low as possible.

On my playthrough I never even got the second land plot, and I sold all my fame every time so it stayed below 10. I was paying almost 2k every time taxes came around. It might also be related to how much money you have made using the shipping container. I had made over 100k in sales. I'm currently on a second playthrough to confirm this.

Yes! You can mass produce stone quarts through dismantling ale or wine bottles. You can cut them on a stone cutter to obtain 'glass' stone blocks. Hope it helps!

Idea about evasion vs defence? Stick only for someone and max it out, to make it work good for survivability. Having a little of here and there gives little to nothing. Btw said is true not only for this game but most of them, which have a battle system with defence and evasion.

@@ZakaPatchthere’s a couple The easiest is to go to palamia north east from the meadows a fair bit There is a casino teleporter enter the casino play the basketball game till you get a hundred casino coins then save scum black Jack till you hit 4K The other alternative is to go far Far East with small metals into the tundra to find a small hut And finally the most annoying but technically viable is to get a trash can or steal the recipe by smashing a couple And then put a couple hundred berries and other assorted junk for eco cards which can be turned in at yown it’s north east under palamia This will cost a lot of crops to accomplish which is why I usually don’t recommend since your effectively exchanging probably the largest amount of raw profits But it is the closest to the meadow

If you want to, you can run through vernis mines 1st floor and reload or just check it every now and then till you find a statue and exit with it. You'll die but it'll fall in Vernis. If you have a pet like the Defender it'll rez you instantly with Lay Hands and you wont die upon zoning while squished. That's how I got my shiny earth statue.
