Hi Elin. It was only yesterday that with help from a friend from the Triumph club that my Spitfire now has new front discs, calipers, pads and hoses. Drives a dream now ready for the summer. 👍

I had to make some changes to some of the old videos as my ex employer wanted me to take them down due to privacy issues. Looks like reuploading the videos brings this playlist back to life though :) I will get back to this project really soon, I miss working on it.

Hi Elin, I'm curious, I can see quite a few Triumphs in your videos, TRs, Spitfires, GT6, are they a common site in Canada? Do you see Heralds and Vitesses as well? I really like the shape of those cars, maybe one day!! Good luck from Spain!!
@RustyBeauties2 жыл бұрын
Yes, all TRs are common here except Herald and Vitesse. These are rare.

If you watch the Story of Triumph, I think I remember them saying that North America and Canada were the main export countries for Triumph Sports cars, about 70% of all production. Only about 20% remained in the U.K. as Right hand drive cars….(I remember being quite surprised at that…) kind regards.

oh man elin every time i see that rear suspension i get the cold sweats , because of its design it almost killed me on several occasions back in the day, it was so long ago i cannot remember how my father and i , modified it but we got rid of the transverse leaf spring and fabbed up an upper a arm of some sort once you were not scared of the deadly tuck in you could really enjoy some exciting corners that tuck in was a deadly flaw on an otherwise fun machine be warned no lift off mid corner ,unless you adress the tuck in

I know, this is a problem with spits and GT6, but I am not into racing and drifting. I like cruising on country roads and enjoy the ride.

@@RustyBeauties yes i understand, i was a stupid young man ,when i was into triumphs, but it truly got me into some very dangerous situations and you never know when their will be a dead 1000 lbs moose lieing in the middle of the road around that blind corner in your part of the world be careful my friend . i am old now but still love to find a quite bit of road ( wich is easy in western canada ) and use a well designed car as it was intended my car is an xjr jaguar and it is an occasion every time i use it . And thank you for the hours of pleasure your videos have given , excellent content

Elin, damn shame that that you have to re-edit the videos, seams a bit childish of your old boss. He approved of the videos when you created them.
@RustyBeauties2 жыл бұрын
Haha, you got it right, he is a child in his 50's. Nevermind, looks like reposting the videos gives them a new life :) The money he spent for his layer to send me a letter was well invested. Works very well for me LOL
