Really nice seeing this body work being completed and the beginning of seeing another one of these great little cars being saved. Hopefully it will be driven and enjoyed again by a proud owner, rather than parked up for decades in an airconditioned cellar, sealed in plastic as part of an investment portfolio.

Looking sharp , great painting there , for the dust problem just put some water on the floor around the car , that will keep the dust sealed to the floor 👍🚗😊 thx

Great to see that you are completing one stage (no more welding.... hahaha) and moving to the next stage

Yup, you are a good story teller, you must have heard the one about the guy who is not a professional painter? Then shows you a fantastic job, at least from where we all sit. Congratulations , onward you go!!! Thanks for the video.

LOL.It is just a primer. I've never done a complete car so I am definitely not a painter
@johnfalkenstine8377 Жыл бұрын
You should buy a used paint booth. They're usually kits and can be disassembled and moved to another place. Then you have a paint shop with filtration and an exhaust system.

What is the correct colour for a 1975 1500cc rocker/valve cover

"I'm not a painter" Says the guy who painted his GT6 in perfect layers of epoxy and did a car in a temporary spray booth. But you had some serious moves going on @ 13:44 mate ....
@RustyBeauties4 жыл бұрын
I am trying :) But it is much easier with primer, I've never done a base coat yet..

Hi Elin Im back with a question I need to buy some Magenta paint for my tr 6 the code is apparently 92 but dont know whewre to buy it, also would prefer the laquer type as thats what on it originaly , any suggestions on where I can purchase a couple of spray cans thanks
@Hotrodytype4 жыл бұрын
Not sure what the black paint was, but it should have been a ,epoxy type primer'.
@RustyBeauties4 жыл бұрын
Yes, epoxy primer would be my choice for my own car too. Not making the decisions about this car though.
