Congrats on getting the kill, took me a couple of tries on my Cold BV build as well. Not sure if you know this now or not, but you can stack the damage over time puddles on top of eachother in one spot. Damage over time puddles don't do additional damage if there are multiple puddles in one spot so keeping them all contained to one corner of the arena is ideal. Good thing to remember for future shaper fights, or even Maven and Uber Elder.

If possible, always try to stack the degen pools near each other in one corner of the arena. All of shaper spells are cold damage, so having a sapphire flask/+max% to cold would help, too. Zana's bubble can give false sense of security because he commonly follows it up with his beam and you have to watch for that. Grats on kill!

Congrats, not an easy boss for beginners ! Quick tip to help you on kinda every boss fight, don't try to move everywhere, just dodge what the boss is doing and then stop, but the most important thing is to always keep an eye on the boss, so you can see what he's doing 100% of the time ! If you don't, he'll just throw he's 3 balls accross the map, you won't see them coming and die xD (for shaper) Not easy to always keep an eye on him but you did great, congrats again ! sorry for my english i tried to do my best, i'm french !

GG the boss. I had to go with the expensive boneshatter build, but it's been worth it so far. I've beat shaper twice without maven.

That was painful just watching u. Been there 4 sure. Played for 8 yrs. Try bringing some cold flask with u.

Nice to see new players in PoE, sad that you started trade league instead of SSF. You learn much more by having to actually play the entire game, instead of just being able to p2w.
