Romans 8:28-31 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son...And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

@Joseph. I also find that I am scared. What if God asks too much but think of Abraham...He didn't say go and offer Isaac....no, He was patient and the first lesson was "Abraham...move". That gives me great comfort. What an awesome, awesome God we serve🙌

Obedience is painful…lord sent someone in my life, love of my life…when time came to get married, lord said to me,give me your Isaac..he spoke and I gave up to him my Isaac…it’s been six years I still ask him, why did you take away my Isaac..since then am broken..but it’s all about obedience, laying your life…I did for my Isaac that he could get better or best, I suffer for him that he could get the best but I still ask my lord, why did you take away my Isaac..Abraham had only one Isaac and so did I..until this life, I shall still ask him, why he took away my Isaac..someday I know he will reveal to me.

God sees the future and perhaps can see an event in your life that would be too much for you bear. This giving up is the path of lesser sorrow and grief. Trust Him.

@@Grace2Hope no idea about that though but this brokenness is painful...two years ago I donated my one kidney to my mom, kept praying for her healing but then except donating there was no other way...now am already at third stage renal failure...one day I was reading the Bible, some words rose up high and I saw that said, some more time then I will take you home...I only see lord teaching me to lay down, lay down to love..my Isaac would always remain my Isaac and my life is for obeying the Lord.

@@kanikapaul01 Pray and break that curse of renal failure! Read healing verses out loud and tell God you believe His Word is for you! Stand strong for healing! Don’t give in to impending death! Maybe that’s why God took him out of your life - so he wouldn’t suffer because you weren’t going to stand for your healing. Jesus came that we might have LIFE and have it abundantly! Live!! And believe for God to bring your man back into your life.

@Kanika, I don’t know you but the moment I read your comments I was struck to the heart. God has allowed you to suffer much for His sake. But press in to His will. Press in to the cross. Do not be dismayed!! Do not pity yourself. Your Lord and Savior suffered far more than you-willingly, without a hint of self pity. God has allowed this that you may KNOW HIM and the POWER of His resurrection. Are not all things pale in comparison to knowing Him? It is for discipline that you have to endure. So rejoice in your sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance character, and character hope, which does not put us to shame because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by His Holy Spirit. I cannot say whether He will heal you or not… that is His business. But I do know that nothing can come to you that He does not allow. If He calls you to Himself, what joy!! You willl enter into the joy of your Master and be with Him forever. Only let your manner of departing point fully to Him in worship and submission. And if you are to live and have fruitful labor, praise the Lord! The cross may not depart, but His power is made perfect in weakness. Wait on the Lord. He is able. He can do more in one moment than man can do in a lifetime. Do not fret over your future but give yourself entirely to Him. With many prayers and much compassion, Your fellow slave of our Blessed Lord.

I looked up the Rettew family after watching this video, and sadly saw all the children were taken from them due to abuse, torture and neglect. Two people cannot adopt that many special needs children and care for them properly. That should of been the first red flag. But this teaching was excellent, just wanted to share truth about that family she commented on.

That's so sad but I agree about red flag. Also, Josh Harris has left the faith. Examples aside, her message is spot on and I love that she is unapologetic about it. Messages are too soft these days and filled with worldly wisdom rather than Gods word.

@@carynmason3421 Josh Harris was involved in the Sovereign Grace church system which was riddled with sexual abuse issues several years ago and handled (or not handled) atrociously. It's no wonder he left the faith after that experience which I'm sure he contributed to in some ways. He was high up in the system. A very damaging and corrupt church "family." I know--I was in it for a while. Stay away from *anything* Sovereign Grace.

And she even dared to go back to that tribe that murdered her husband, with her three-year-old daughter, and serve those people. Her heart was always to serve. If God blessed her with a nice house, that would be His prerogative…

“Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?” ‭‭James‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Be careful how you speak, for you will give an account for every word. God cares not about riches but the submission of the heart. Do you know this woman well enough to judge her heart, and are you yourself submitted enough to not fall under condemnation by your own judgement?
