Thank you for sharing. Brings back memories. She's a brave little Warrior 🎀 I am Brave, I am Bruised, I am a Warrior. This is Me. Dragged down I-75 age 12 and hit by a car 2 yrs later. 6 months in traction in the University of Michigan Burn Unit although I wasn't burned. Couldn't see my parents on surgery days nor the day after in the burn unit. That could be 6 days in a week. No androids, no tablets. 70 surgeries, 23 broken bones, pelvis broken in 6 places and completely separated. I was receiving 5,000 calories per day although I wasn't eating. A big struggle. 5'7" 68 lbs. I was an awesome athlete For sure scholarship for Softball or Hockey. Years after my leg was amputated at the hip. I could NEVER have known The EXCRUCIATING AGONY I would go on to battle. 8,000 hrs of research and 5 grand in medical books. Sadly, both were uninsured motorists so I NEVER got a dime. I should have gotten millions. If I had, I always dreamed of changing others lives. I have gone on and off 48 different medications. I've gone 5 weeks without 1 minute of sleep during 2 major medication overhauls. I swear on the Bible. No addiction. Honestly I don't feel my medicine. I've never gotten a dime from the government. I'm alone. I'd give anything for someone to pay for me to have central air. I have a serious Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction where my body can't cool itself. The meds make me overheat so badly. I can't function. I keep it 60°F in winter. I only have enough money for 3 months. I'm sorry but I don't know what to do. I can't survive without air. Even with i will be completely immobile. I've had 14 good months since the first accident. It was before the excessive sweating and burning blood burgundy red skin. I can't be in the sun/unrelated. I'm wc bound. I touched so many lives along my journey. Couldn't have children because of it. I had 3 cross foot flaps where my right heel was screwed with 16 screws to build a heel pad. 2 months in bed in hospital. Snapped panties. Tough times are now. I am asking for help. We all have something whether visible or not. Im not complaining. Its the reality of the situation. Take time to dream and enjoy. Ashley, I get it. Every six months I have to have a ureter stent removed and a new one put in. The stent props open my ureter from my kidney to my bladder. It’s Nothing like Elizabeth’s surgery. I’m so sorry. Your poor baby girl.

Just a little bit over 12 years ago in early March 2012. I broke my left ankle in a bad car accident. I had surgery on that ankle the following afternoon. I wore a splint cast for a couple weeks. I gotten a fiberglass cast for 4 weeks. I wore the boot cast a little bit longer. I was in a wheelchair chair a little bit over 2 months. Even used a walker a little bit in hopping in the bedroom or a little bit in getting out of the bedroom and even the door to the outside. Luckily both of my parents helped me in my recovery. It was kind of rough for me in the beginning. My parents gotten a wheelchair and a walker by renting them from this one pharmacy for me to used. It took me awhile for me to get into my father’s vehicle. It was easy for me to get in my mother’s little car. Luckily it did warmed up that Saturday after my car accident. It went from late winter towards early summer. I didn’t enjoyed the warmer weather back then. I totally missed out on it. I had a few X-rays on that ankle. I even gone to PT for my ankle in early May towards the end of August. The month of July that I weened off the boot cast. It got so comfortable in wearing it. I know what is liked going through the whole recovery time. I hope she gets better in time. My name is also Elizabeth,too.

I know Elizabeth pain, I have had so many leg surgeries and coming up I’m getting a spinal fusion surgery a back surgery so I will be in the same pain again, but in my back watching this kind of worried me about not being able to move the way I can now 😭😭😭😭😭 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 but it seems like Elizabeth is a strong young lady through tough times especially pain after surgery❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
