Very happy with outcome of almost a standard 2.0 Duratec
- Piper fast road cams 288 H
- Light porting
- Upgraded Springs for valves
- APB Bolts, updated main bearings, manual tensioner
- Balanced and carefully tuned ITB
- Balanced injectors
- Komo-tech mainfold exhaust ( well balanced )
- Rpm max 7300

Gives me some hope I can squeeze a bit more power from my Ford Focus which has the Duratec 2.0 engine. ⚠️😊😁

2 L duratec great engine but you're going to be looking at a lot of money if you're not going with a boosted application and even then you're probably looking at about 10 grand just to Turbo it if you're not looking for a big bump in horsepower you can do a Ford Fusion 2.5 swap for not a lot of money it's a very easy swap that's what I'm doing on my 07 Focus right now and it takes it from 135 horsepower crank to 175 crank and you can pick up a 25 duratec for dirt cheap a junkyard I picked it up for $400 Canadian I think that's something like 150 $200 USD

@@kartaku132 Yeah I appreciate you have to spend significant money to get any substantial power increase from a NA duratec! I was thinking more subtle increases using standard Ford parts found on other similar models? As far as I'm aware the 2.0 duratec formed the basis of the Fiesta ST? I was thinking more like intake manifold, exhaust mods, EGR delete, swirl flap delete, maybe readily available parts that just tweak the power, to give subtle gains of like 20-25 bhp?

@@pdtech4524 well if you're only looking for 25ish horsepower your best bet would be intake exhaust and a tune in roughly be about $1500USD for everything before shipping but that's not bad but if you're not interested in that there's another option I don't know what goes into doing this and I don't know how much it cost but you can take the 2.3 duratec head off of 4-cylinder Ranger and put it on your tools and it will make more power because the 2.3 has bigger ports and s*** it flows more air than the 2 L and I believe it's an 05 and up Ranger that Has them

Hej - jodå kört några initial tester, rullat på gatan och kört en track-day på Kinnekulle. Mycket nöjd :) Jag har framförallt olje-kyl som skall in ( går upp för hög när plågas på höga varv ) + göra om luftburken... Hör av dig om du vill se installationen ( finns i Göteborg )

How much would it cost to add more hp and MN on Mazda 2.0 LF engine? For the streets drive only. I'm from Copenhagen btw 😁

Leaving standard parts - mega cost, this hp/torqu range is ok with standard parts and updated cams. Next step will require rods, pistons etc...

It's stock 2.0 duratec with updated camshafts and some updated Internal bolts.
