The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. I wouldnt want play against Mertens. There was a moment when the Serena Williams was having a kid and Muguruza was up and down with her game and Halep was dominating but wasnt a big hitter. I always feel like Mertens had a huge chance to get a slam or two. 2017-2019 era.

I AGREE 100%.... I have always thought she could be top 10 with a slam if she added a bit of power on her racket because she already has some solid skills. She reminds me of Radawanska... great skills but not even hitting power on the racket. Look at Svitlana; this is the most aggressive I have seen her play. Mertens gets to every ball... her speed and return are very great and she is a doubles player so she is also great at the net.

Coco really needs to nail down her serve. Consistency is key. She's ranked 6, but is struggling with her serve in a way that she cant keep going through like this. Over all shes growing very nicely an she'll definitely get better with time and age. I love watching her play. Looking forward to seeing her evolution over the years.

I really admire how Coco handled the media pressure when she first started on the tour and still worked on herself and is becoming one of the best players out there and very dangerous in tournaments. What I can't stand, with any players, is hyping the crowd come on clap for me
