The reason the rampage has the side loading magazine is because the 35 round drum doesn't have to fight gravity while pushing 35 darts so it functions better that way.

I prefer the pump grip. The rampage was my first blaster and I'm just more used to a pump grip rather than having to wrap my hand around the barrel of the alpha trooper

Living in Germany and getting my mod springs from Blasterparts i don't have the problem of bending with my Alpha Trooper although i have an 8kg spring because they sell a kit including a replacement for that bar.

I would say Stryfe! It is semi-auto which is good for spraying, it has the rails for the modulus attachments (Top for sights, bottom for grip / bipod, barrel attachment for the barrels and the stock attachment for the pistol stock), Not very expensive compared to others (got mine for £20). Very Cool Gun And I Highly Recommend It!.

I feel that the XD Alpha Trooper will not hit the States. I wish it would, but the fact that it comes with pre-elite mags makes me think it is just a.way for Hasbro to use up old stock, in a limited release.

XD Alpha Trooper is on Singapore right now. Has a slight different range than normal Alpha Trooper. Why they make it ORANGE? I think the White & Blue XD Line is better than Orange one. Oh ya, it also comes with a Spectre stock, 12 darts, and 2 6 round opaque magazine (old school, i don't know why) I think 1 12 round magazine is better than 2 6 round magazine ....

Stryfes are smaller and cheaper than a Retaliator and pump grip and it is much easier to use, if you want super rapid fire gun choose the Retaliator with pump but if you want to be more ammo conservative use the stryfe

Alpha Trooper is comfortable out of the box. Not easy to mod. Retaliator. Not very comfortable out of the box. Can be fixed by modding it. Average nerfer : Alpha Trooper Modder : Retaliator.
