In an actual match they get destroyed in imp by mass archers. Against cavalry in an actual match they win with micro easy. Frank vs Spanish is one of those match in which it really shines how little the frank player can push vs conquistadores in castle age. In imp they fall very short tho. The results would be quite different if this was done with castle age units

Hey I have a great idea!! When you are creating your videos I noticed that every time you finish a short clip, not sure what to call it but when the conqs either ""all" die or kill the unit it's fighting you literally hear the victory noise or the defeat noise depending. But you hear the animation of the game about to play the victory or defeat animations for sure. Lol. Anyways I had an idea, I think you should simply put a worker for each player "on" the map somewhere that is not in the arena obviously. But just do that so you don't have to cut it RIGHT away or right AFTER they finish, somtime's even before they are all dead at all it seems. Lol anyways great content man appreciate your stuff. Hope this helps ya hehe.

In terms of resourses lost FC were in better position. 15 FC cost 1125 food and 450 gold. 14 conqs that died had cost of 840 food and 980 gold plus the one that remained was one hit from death. So the Spanish player lost the battle economically.

They negate bonus damage received from Anti-infantry attacks. Conqs don't have any bonus dmg vs infantry, its all raw damage.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't take it. I've spammed imperial skirms to counter spanish before, and they work great. Then again, I suppose I usually have like 3x as many of them as my opponent has of conqs :P

Conquistadors are expensive, imperial skirms are super cheap. Not surprising that in roughly equal numbers the conqs win. Imp skirms are super cost effective though.

It's not just micro, it's also how big the fight is. 10 paladins will likely beat 10 conqs in a fight, but 100 conqs can easily beat 100 paladins even without any micro. That's cuz when you have enough conqs, they form multiple rows, and more of them can shoot at each enemy at once.

Melee units have trouble to find a way to attack. On game it seems doesnt have similar problem. What is the pronlem any ideas?

Melee pathing is notoriously bad in DE compared to older versions of the game. It completely changes the viability of melee units especially at higher level play.

Woad raiders have lost all the matches if I'm not mistaken, even to Karambit. (I only play single player, so I'm not even in position to talk about viablity).

Since my point of view spanish have two of the worst unique units in the game: conquistadors and missionary are useless in game! Conquistadors cost so many gold, they need so many micro and can be easily countered by trash units like, not only pikeman, but also guerrillas. The role they should do is much better done in resources efficiency by mangudais, kiptchas or even horse archer with all improvements. In addition, spain has no gold bonus in 1 vs 1 games so the are useless. I think they need a buff in resistance against guerrillas or reduce gold cost or add gold bonus.
