You're missing so many WOW moments if you don't experience these sights in VR! I'm approaching my mid 50's and Elite with Pimax 5K+ fulfills my childhood (Luke Skywalker/Flash Gordon) dream of piloting my very own spaceship through the galaxy! ED will always be on my hard drive because it will _never_ run out of beautiful places to discover (;

The Spirograph Nebula is easily my favorite system in the game. That green sky is surreal. I spent an entire evening sightseeing and getting dozens of screenshots when I first stumbled upon it as a detour while out to see Barnard's Loop.

Great tip. I took my Asp over to BD-12 1172 last night and it was amazing. Even got the kids and wife to sit and watch! Also managed to land on a 2.77G planet without any damage to look around the space gherkins!

This is the best group so far, and, full transparency, my personal biases may be showing here. This has given you a taste of what is, essentially, the Bubble's back yard. Press on for other wonders, like Skaude AA-A h294

One aspect of these sites is that many of them also allows you to go all in pokemon, so it is not just the screen shots that makes them worth a visit.

Alright, alright, I'll head back out into the black... And this time, I'll have an engineered ship! (Started the Bubble-Sag A*-Colonia triangle before buying horizons; I didn't even have an SRV until I reached the core)

Yo look at that Buur, many likes and no dislikes, that’s what I’m talking about. Asked someone who they like more between you and Obsidian in HIP 54530 and they said both. You’re on people’s eye my friend

Something I wish for is some ability to play as 2 commanders under one account. I want to explore so badly but too often there is something in the Local Bubble I feel the need to work at. I wish I could have a ship out in the deep cosmos and have my main character play in the Local Bubble so that way I can swap between the two. Maybe have it so a module slot is taken up as an advanced remote pilot.

Thanks for your work and have a question, been playing elite for a year or so and recently found a cool system that people might want to see and was wondering how to get this info out? Like this video, someone originally found it, but how does it get into the books? Like edsm has hundreds of "Places Of Interest" that gives you the system name so one can check it out and was curious how one can add to that list? Appreciate any info on this, thanks
@TheBuurPit2 жыл бұрын
Hey Frank, you're very welcome :) A couple of things to try ...the most obvious is to hit places like the Elite SubReddit or the official forums and just plain tell folks about it - here's some links for that: www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/ forums.frontier.co.uk/categories/elite-dangerous/ To submit the site to be considered as a community recognised point of interest, head to The Galactic Exploration Catalogue here: edastro.com/gec Create yourself and account and then after checking out the new submission rules etc. click on the "New POI button" on the top right. Hope that helps :) o7

BD-12 1172 (Spirograph Nebula) PSA: You will want to plan your route to this location carefully due to it's proximity to the permit locked Col 70 Sector. Don't let that put you off though as this system is well worth the effort.
