Haha ! It is mainly beacause I suck with FDL. Im too bad a pilot for it and somehow I really find it hard to manage PIPS and range control when flying FDL...so I had to find other ways ;) Thank you for your nice words! Very nice. Very good aim with those APAs. Can I ask, since I am new to PvP, why you used a heatsink at around 3:34? Just curious. Again, nice fight and great in slow mo like that o7o7

Thx for your nice words! I often use heatsinks as chaffs. I was hoping to disappear from his sensors a bit at a time he was in good position to hit me while I was totally defensive. Not sure it worked though.

Hey there , I'm new to the game so could you clarify something for me. You were basically backpedaling whole fight and he was maneuvering like crazy, but shouldn't it be opposite as he has higher class ship with stronger shields and more firepower .

My backpedaling was not on purpose. I used lateral/vertical trusters to drive my aiming reticule to him, in an attempt to continuously orbit him. Sometimes my orbit collapsed and I boosted to ward him. So I did not use main thrusters a lot, hence the backpedaling. It was early fight for me and my control were not the best, I confess. Im guessing these APAs are efficient with target lock breaker right? I was considering doing rapid fire but dont think its worth it lol.

yes they are efficient. the 2nd one has the dazzle effect. Rapid fire is nice but too hard on the Powerdistributor for my taste, as well as overheating quicker. So I came up with a build rule that is Plasmas = Efficient all the time. 😉

@@AceYoPro here is the link. s.orbis.zone/ktly I replaced the biwave by a prismatic because I had a pre engineered 4A Powerplant from a CG reward. It allowed me to have 24.96MW power to run the prisma. But both works o7

i can easily see the target lock break being more viable on APAs then regular PAs. i hope he is at least running thermal conduit PAs letting himself get that hot.

its smart to use target lock on high output advanced plasmas. must be realy annoying if you dont have easy acess to the key.

Dont expect mercy, so you wont be disappointed! only positively surprised times to times :) (my boss used to tell me this when it comes to salary negociation!!) Actualy we did not agree on specific rules, but we agreed to fight. So When I realized he stopped fighting back and retracted, I told myself it was enough. Was my 1st sorie with this ship and good test. Plus, we had nice chat after and shared a beer at distance :). People tend to forget it is just a game. Cheers and see you in the Void, CMD o7
