A trick that I'm using while doing shadow delivery missions at Robigo, Robigo Mines

This works best when you can park a high cargo capacity ship docked at the station you buy the new slaves at. That way you can fill up 300+ cargo of slaves and finish all the deliveries.

I tried doing that by parking Python and doing deliveries by using that. That caused security to use heavy ships like Python as well and they armed with Plasma Accelerators. 2-3 hits and my boosters are down and I'm dead. Didn't work out too well for me. I'm using Cobra to deliver. It's really fast, cops can't scan you in time and I had to restock twice.

Thanks for the excellent advice. I have previously used the Robigo run for smuggling and had the hassle of dealing with the police and pirates during the 15 or so jumps to the destination. Now, with nothing in the hold i can relax at last! Plus the bonus of having a huge number of contracts if i wish. If you have any tips on avoiding police scans once interdicted please let us know.

+snurfli Hi-thanks for the reply. I have since done some research using others experience and have found the following out: Chaff works sometimes before a scan Boost away works sometimes. Need A rated thrusters and Power Distribution - 4 pips to engine to give high speed boost away. Pirates as well as police scans lose your Robigo contracts. To avoid a scan, log out and save game during interdiction. When you reenter the game, you'll start in your last location with your missions in tact, unconcerned by the police until your next jump. Shooting scanner always works-assault bounty goes after 10 mins. Force quit on scan start (Macs) Disable automatic reporting of crimes against you, this prevents cops from being drawn in when you get interdicted and shot at by pirates

+Michael Dawson I'm picking up missions using Asp, but I'm doing deliveries by using Cobra. When I get to the bubble, I switch to my Cobra and re-buy cargo. No ship can keep up with Cobra and no cop will be able to scan you in time. You just need to get 1.5km away from the target for them to lose scan. Cobra is also much easier to maneuver and has a small landing pad (instead of Asp medium) so it's easier to land on outposts because they have multiple small pads. Last night I delivered 120 tons of mission cargo that way, had to go back twice to the base to refill.

+Sickbrain What an ingenious solution! I assume when you transfer to the Cobra your contracts await you there - they follow the commander and not stay with the ship you bought them in. Your comments also explain why boosting works for some and not others. Even with top thrusters and power distribution if your ship is not a Cobra boosting will not work against some police ships. You have got a new subscriber!

+Michael Dawson yes, your missions bound to commander not your ship. You can also "scare" security that scans you by targeting them and deploying weapons. In that case they'll deploy their weapons and this will interact their scanning.

+Sickbrain Thank you! I read elsewhere that you can only stop the scan if you actually fire weapons and hit their ship. If so the problem is that by the time you get them in your sights the scan could be finished! Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions - appreciated.

Nice Video. One question, what happens if you get scanned ? Ofc you will fail all your missions but will you also get fined ?

yes, you will be fined, but maximum fine I ever had was less than 200k. That's flying with close to 20 missions.
