The Elite Eagle Warrior is a Native American infantry unit in Age of Empires II: The Conquerors that can be trained at the Barracks once the Imperial Age is reached. The Elite Eagle Warrior is the final tier in the Eagle line. They replace the cavalry for their civilizations.
The Aztec Garland Wars technology provides +4 attack, making them better raiders, striking down an enemy Villager with just three hits.
In the total resources series, we consider 100 Food = 100 Wood = 100 Gold. In the equal resources series, we consider 100 Food = 100 Wood = 17 Gold.

Mayans have the best Eagles in almost every situation. But do not forget that Mayan costly bonus applies only to eagles. Inca's eagles have the best anti-arrow resistance. 60 shots to slay one of them (VS 50 shots to Mayan Eagle). Aztec Eagles are unparalleled in the sense of surprise attacks and raiding. Also, they are created faster than their mesoamerican brothers. Historically, only Aztecs had Eagle warriors, though.

Slingers function mechanically identical to gunpowder units, but fire faster. A slinger is basically a Hand Cannoneer on crystal meth for their attack rate, but at the cost of having far less HP and far less base attack. (their attack is all in their bonus damage vs. infantry rather than evenly split) Still, for the function that hand cannoneers fulfill, (aka killing everything before it reaches you, specifically infantry) one could argue Slingers are just downright superior. Better at what they do, but less flexible in other matchups.
