if you want to avoid some help defense steals you can try to do a high pick up

using your off arm, bumping through contact and learning difficulties pickups are the keys to getting to the rim consistently

If you're getting the ball stolen when you drive in a one on one situation you need to develop your basic fundamentals of ball handling, footwork, creating space and change of pace etc... If you're getting the ball stolen when you drive in a team game you need to develop a basic understanding of when to drive when to use certain moves and what the defense is doing in man to man like "help defense" "gap defense" or a zone defense.. if you don't understand any of these situations wether it be one on one or a team situation then you to take the time and learn them or play another sport that will help understand team concepts to beat defenders in a team situation or a one on one situation and if that doesn't help I'd say try another sport altogether don't play basketball.
