The entire leaderboard/competitive scene in 2k is chalked. Imagine you’re 2 rep levels above your friend who plays way more than you cuz you got lucky and chose rise and didn’t play and your friend chose elite. Your rep level is legit based on flipping a coin. Imagine grinding out proving grounds just to see there’s people above you with 20% lower win percentage cuz they dashboard on losses. If you’re trying to be competitive at all in this game you get punished by a broken game and a broken money hungry company who could care less about your experience on the game.

Nah it's even more fishy! I have 2k Ticket ongoing as well. I had they same answer but I digged deeper and said I participated on multiple events in the Event Center (KiA, Rivit City and Cold Snap). The support answered only the Rivit City event gets me qualified for the rep boost. WTF?! The % for each affiliation changed during the KiA Event for sure! And yet support says it didn't count! Also I was informed that everybody gets the same amount of boost. It doesn't matter if you played a lot or only one game. It doesn't matter if were winning or losing. It has no impact! I call it a scam and it is rigged for the greater evil, 2k.

All the top rep people are rise, the majority of the comp players are rise, majority of the KZbinrs are rise. That have 90+ win percentages and play way more event games than the average player.

Here’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Mathematically Elite didnt win and because of that they needed to rewrite code or create a hot patch to distribute rep boost to elite. In prior seasons Rise won and it was distributed automatically. I believe Rise won again but in order to retain player base 2k redistributed the win to Elite but now need to alter coding to give boost to Elite. If you had a rep boost distribution system in place and it worked fine for two seasons, why would you change it now? Unless of course Elite didnt actually win. I’m okay with Elite winning because that doesn’t stop my grind. Just don’t lie to me 2k
