I honestly could tell the difference the day I upgraded from a white screen to the CineGrey, but actually putting up a piece of CineWhite material and seeing the difference is mind boggling! To be honest, it is more noticeable in person than the video shows. Enjoy the video.

As I always say. If you got or can get a high-end high output projector. Even in dark control room Grey ALR screen in superior. As it has much greater contrast and deep blacks which in return results in depth of field and gives dimensionality to the picture. After a certain point contrast wins over brightness. Considering how bright the high end laser projectors are getting generation by generation. I say it is time that all brands start working on Grey screens. Specially the acoustically transparent "woven" versions. Currently we only got one option in that category which is Severtson TAT-4K. I wish all major brands offer something similar to it. White screens were the way when the light output on projectors was low. Now that they become so bright I would go for screen that offers greater contrast and deeper blacks.

white square is like old screens technology (lcd) and gray screen is like current technology (oled, amoled) the color is pure and more strong

I'm a little confused. I clicked both clinks you've included for the CineGrey and CineWhite and both pages claim they both have a gain of 1.1. My understanding is the CineGrey has a smaller gain than the CineWhite, hence the difference in picture. Am I missing something?

My room can be completely black, but when my projector turns on the light splashing off the screen lights up the room so their mine as well be a window open. Ambient light rejecting is very important and the reason why I'm switching to it
