@@keiragreen9876 The glasses are just a prop. They will be made of a soft, malleable plastic and perfectly safe, for obvious reasons. They won't even have lenses in them. If you look at other productions on youtube, you will see one of the male dancers is also dressed in orange and wearing glasses. It was part of the original costume design.

@@2charliep I saw a couple of ROH productions, via KZbin, where they asked for donations and gave info on how to do it. I am actually curious about that too... so I watched the live streaming again when it was still available and pause in some parts just to see how the heck that glasses were not slipping. As it turned out, the glasses were strapped and knotted on the back of the dancer's head :D What an interesting discovery, made me appreciate even more the details that went into this production

The costumes look ok on the female dancers but look totally ridiculous on the men. Why they can't wear trousers and shirts I don't know. Male dancers have a bad enough press without making them wear embarrassing and unsightly costumes.
@paulybarr3 жыл бұрын
Yeah right. The men should wear jackets and button down shirts and ties. And belts- men should wear belts. And lace up leather shoes too. Thanks for your insights into suitable male attire in the dance world. You're clearly knowledgeable in this area.
