I've used mine for a couple months now as my edc. I have to say I really like it for some reason, it reminds me of a little bowie. But it's a workhorse for the 💰. IMO

I carry it in my rotation, and I must agree with you about liking it. It does remind me of a little bowie as well. It sure is a great budget blade. Thank you for your comment 😊

Just got one from rural king for $24.99. Its not bad at all for the price. Update: After owning it for a few days I gotta say I think im just gonna cut off the guard. They should have made it a 1 piece design. Instead its a 7 piece design and it has screws that loosen up even with blue thread lock. The pocket clip is adequate thickness. My issue with it is the 2 very short screws that attach it to the knife. I removed mine. Otherwise good knife for a low price.

The lock works the same on mine you have to pull down both sides but on my Benchmade SOC p I can use either side separately

Yeah, definitely something I with they would improve upon on this particular blade...

Watch out for loosening of the cap and little screws on a swing guard maybe a medium type of Loctite

Will do that... so far, so good 😎👍🇺🇸

A beefier pocket clip? Personally I don't see anything wrong with that axis lock.. when you pull only one side the bar is pulled at an angle because you're not pulling it down evenly..... Personally with my benchmades, I would do one of two things to the opposite side of which I pull down ...either make the opposite Omega spring weaker or remove it all together

Thank you for your comment. This particular blade has a weak pocket clip, which unfortunately broke after a month of use. I was able to obtain another from a buddy who is a knifemaker, so she is now outfitted with a really nice and beefy pocketclip, which will hold her in place. As for the axis lock, all of my benchmades with that lock smartly and easily open from the right or left sides without issue... but that's benchmade quality. This particular knife is an overseas product and is not as fine-tuned, but what can one expect from a budget blade. It's still a nice piece, just could use some improvements. Happy New Year 😎👍🇺🇲

That's not really how axis locks work my dude 😅
@the.sharpestedge Жыл бұрын
Yup... you should be able to depress one side or the other and release the blade like butter like all my other benchmade knives with axis lock... unfortunately, this one does not function like the normal axis lock. "The Axis system works using a small, hardened spring-loaded bar that moves back and forth in a slot made into both steel liners. Positioned at the rear of the blade, it extends on both sides of the knife, spanning the liners. The Axis lock then engages a ramped tang portion of the blade when it is opened. The two omega-style custom-made springs placed on each liner give the locking bar the inertia needed for full tang engagement, which places the tang between the stop pin and AXIS bar for complete lock up." I can depress the axis lock on my benchmades and simply flick my wrist to open the blade... unfortunately, this one just isn't a benchmade axis lock for sure...

@@the.sharpestedge then it must only be certain axis locks cause I've got a Benchmade freek and it requires both fingers

@Joe Mama I have the Adamas, Bugout among a few others ... every benchmade with axis worked the same for me... I would just depress either side of the axis lock; flip my wrist, and the blade would snap right out. I have not encountered one yet that hasn't... benchmade, that is... this Elite Tactical Knife is the first that I encountered working this way.
