@AngelAlvarez-z2p Very cool, my friend. There were several issue colors: Black, OD, forest green, Khaki, and Coyote Brown. Gerber was handing out EOD kits like candy back in the day. My original kit came with a pouch that attached to the M11 with a lot of extras inside; pliers, nips, etc. Made the M11 ungodly bulky though... The C4 spike had many uses; the ones you mentioned, punching holes into dynamite sticks to secure fuse lines, making a hole to add a blasting cap and primer, removing knots from cord, and such. @the.sharpestedge An the awful pinching when cutting, especially I used the M 11 knife cutter for banding material. Leatherman Super tool with crimper was my favorite. The MUT EOD was another good one.

However, China's production of crude steel has been increasing since 2016 This particular knife is lucky if it is even D2... let alone if it was even properly heat-treated. We've checked that knife already, and it is DC53, surprisingly.At first, they've made the copy of OKS with the barrel ring and after 1 week they've stopped making it and I have no idea why but at list I was lucky enough to buy few of them. The HT is fair and it strops so easy with the few passes on each side. Like I said before that I have a real deal and clone and clone is better as far as steel because of DC53.If you don't believe me, you can go and check for chemical composition for that particular knife and you'll see that it is DC53.

It is... but seriously... China has made a lot of decent blades both original and copies. Copying is one thing, but counterfeiting to intend to appear as an original is another. Why not put their spin on a copy and stop counterfeiting logos/branding/identical boxes, etc of existing blades? Then, not only the price would be appealing, but it would not be a counterfeit trying to trick someone into thinking it was something else. This way the buyer would be aware of what they were buying at all times, and made the choice willfully knowing it was a copy in the event they chose not to purchase the original product. @ I was always jealous of the Marine fighting knife Ka-Bar and tried to get away with a really nice dagger in a sheath on my LBE and man the Army does not like it when you add something to your gear load out. They had a load out diagram showing where everything went but you couldn’t add to it at all, not one bit.

Copy is a sincere form of flattery... However, they created the box and all markings with the intent to pass it off as genuine... that is counterfeiting and is an insult to ANY country or manufacturer. Also in violation of export/import and customs laws.
