Interesting... Millard Ex is quite a bit more intriguing than I expected him to be. And this fight was more fun than I expected too. Giving up not counting against the mission attempts was a welcome surprise -- At last, some hard content that's easy to test! I finally got to use Serenoa in a real fight and he was fantastic paired with Sarisa. Was surprised my sword team was able to get the boss to 40% without Rondo or any relevant A4s. I'll need a better plan in future though for my fire team. I ended up brute-forcing it with Rinyuu and Ophilia and no tank since most of my damage dealers had A3 bulk, but Alfyn+Rinyuu+tank seemed like it would have been much better.

I know a lot of people were side eyeing Millard EX but after pulling him and building him with the right fortune weapon and Edea A4, boy can he put up some serious shield especially if you U10 him

I am able to defeat the boss in 2 attemps using sword team and fire team :-) However, planning for this fight to figure out an effictive strategy takes a while.

milordex is very good if you have his A3 and all required support

this boss hit my group for 3.5k aoe and 1.5k on single player my group died quickly and idea why

Lacerating is an AoE that does big damage on anything bleeding. So cleanse the bleeds or move them to the back row.
